I'm so sore :-(
Hi all, I had my BA on Tuesday afternoon at abbey pines in Manchester.
I felt fine after the operation but today I'm in agony. I've taken my meds but still sore :-(
How long I start feeling better?

Re: I'm so sore :-(
You're generally at your worst on day 2/3 Vicki, which is right where you're at now lovely. The majority of the swelling has kicked in now as well as having all of the anesthetic wear off, so it's normal for you to be feeling this discomfort lovely.
If you haven't already tried icepacks now's the time to do it! If you don't have icepacks, grab a bag of frozen rice/peas/corn or anything that will mould around your boobs. Place the ice packs over the tops of your boobs and it will give you so much relief Vicki.
You should start to feel better over the next few days sweetheart, but if you're concerned about anything at all, do give your surgeon a call if only to get some reassurance.

Vicki I'd say defo get some ice packs! Lovely cookie gave me the same advice & they are such a relief if your feeling achy & swollen. You'll be amazing how much better you'll feel in just a few days

Re: I'm so sore :-(
Hi sweetie - totally normal, like the girls say. Trust them - use ice packs or frozen peas - it helps TREMENDOUSLY! I used them for weeks just for the numbing relief (sunburned feeling lasted about 3 weeks for me) and they were such a relief.
You'll be fine it's over before you know it and you won't even remember the discomfort!
