Rough handling ruptures boobies?
I just read someone's post that they had a rupture and she was told by a doctor most ruptures are caused by rough handling. What is considered rough handling?

Ive wondered about this too hun, i dont think its anything to worry about though implants are extremely durable ive always been told there only likely to rupture in an accident, crash/fall etc..

Re: Rough handling ruptures boobies?
wow....wonder what sort of doctor???
I think that it has been proven that modern implants would need a great impact to cause any rupture, unless they were inferior in the first place. I have seen them going through very very rough handling and trauma and not a sign of any change at all.
Oh!!! Just read that back...they were not inside my body at the time.....demonstration

Oh mia!!
I read that, MsTeews, and wondered too..well I've been wondering all sorts about rupture anyway.
I wish there was just a specific list of things that would DEFINITELY rupture them, and nothing else at all apart from those things. Then we could be sure! But of course it's not as simple as that. I suppose you've just got to be a bit careful??, but then I always thought you should treat them like normal boobs? xxx

Re: Rough handling ruptures boobies?
I think it depends on the shell of the implant, i dont think rough handling would, maybe a car crash or being shot/knifed. I watched a Montell Williams show where the woman got shot and her implant saved her life because it made the bullet miss her heart lol x
Re: Rough handling ruptures boobies?
oooo I wander if i interpreted that post wrong. By ''rough handling'' I thought it meant ie when the surgeon is putting/stuffing them in (looks quite rough) and possibly i dono say catching it while stitching the patient up.... :dunno:

Re: Rough handling ruptures boobies?
my co ordinator said the implant they used for me have been used by car workers, parametics, nurses and divers etc so can withstand punching squeezing shoves and bumps. she also said you can stand on them and they wont break so they're pretty damn strong and would probably rupture alongside a broken ribcage and sever internal bleeding elsewhere
