With only 2 weeks till boobie day I'm on the get everything ready task. Did any of you lucky ladies already in the land of bust take any particular pre or post surgery vitamins? X

No vitamins but I started arnica 2 days before, it's a herbal remedy  that "can" help with bruising supposedly. Got it from Holland & Barnet. 
Check with your surgeon first though...

A lot of surgeons will actually say that you shouldn't take any additional supplements for 2wks pre or post op, as it can upset tests and the anaesthesia. They should have given you a list of things to avoid/quit, such as eating garlic or chinese, or any foods that can thin the blood, and occasionally birth control (though most of the time it's fine as a straight BA is a relatively 'short' procedure). Some of them reccoment arnica, which is a homeopathic remedy meant to reduce bruising and swelling. However, this is unproven, so completeness up to you. I took it, so did my hubs for a knee surgery, and we both still bruised like peaches, so it's totally your call.

I would suggest getting in touch with your clinic and finding out what your recommendations are for certain
