Are there any must haves? I remember reading a post about ones to help with softening. Iv heard of using vitamin E for CC prevention but I know its not proven..

I've bought some vit e but haven't heard of anything else - other than a generally healthy, balanced diet of course!

H Cazzy, I am a firm believer in vit E . I had cc with my first b a and wanted to do all that was possible to help prevent it with this one. I did a lot of research and there is some evidence it works. My surgeon thinks there may be something in it too. I have taken 1000iu of it every day since 2nd b a. At the end of the day if it does nt work then you have nothing to lose it wont do you any harm , in fact my skin has been very soft so maybe vit e has helped do that.xx

I didn't bother with vitamins, other than omega 3 oil ones, and thats only because I eat nothing with it in. But I always take them. As cookie said, if you eat a good diet, it will help your healing and make you feel great.
