Vitamins Empty Vitamins

Hi Ladies, I have my BA booked nxt Sunday and I feel like I am on the verge of getting a cold, iv taken some Berocca this morning to help ward it off. Is it ok to take vit c etc?

Not too sure double check with nurse I remember being asked not to take fish oils just before and after due to them having an effect on blood clotting or something x

I was told by my nurse I am not allowed to take any vitimins or medication of any sort unless its my contraceptive pill for 2 weeks leading up to my BA...
I'm scared I will get a cold, or a headache and not be able to take any pills haha xx

You really shouldn't be taking any vitamin supplements now hun on the run up to your surgery.

If you're feeling like you're getting a cold, which is VERY common on the run up surgery. Generally brought on by stress lovely.

Making yourself some hot honey and lemon drinks with freshly squeezed lemons used filled with lots of 'natural' vitamin C to help your immune system is far better for you hun. Keep warm and take it easy and you'll be just fine Babe Xx
