Holiday after BA
My boob job was booked for 9th September but impatience kicked in and it's now on 20th may!!! But I'm going on holiday for my birthday on the 5th July so 6weeks post op we going for 4nights the flight is only 4hours. Would the stitches be healed by this stage? It's just a beach holiday won't be doing much!
Also I've been looking on these websites of before and afters, anyone else on ere have photos I can see I you were a 32A before and what you had put in? I'm looking at 300cc just not sure if it's enough

Re: Holiday after BA
I went abroad 6 weeks post op only for 3 nights. Felt fine physically as wasnt in much discomfort by then. I wore my sports bra most of the time and unfortunately the weather was rubbish so only put on a bikini for a bit but probably a good thing as boobs weren't totslly settled as didn't look their best! Be careful about burning as stretched skin is highly likely to burn for the first year. Make sure scars stay out of the sun totally to avoid pigmentation. And double check with surgeon that he's happy for you to take sports bra off. Check about swimming too as submerged in pool water is quite a big infection risk. I decided against swimming but was actually told I could. Enjoy!

Re: Holiday after BA
6wks you should be fine on the plane, but check with your surgeon. Swimming will be a no go, and really you should have them covered still at 6wk. T-shirt covered, not bikini covered. The skin will be tight and stretched and will burn to a crisp. Also, scars cannot be in the sun at all, as mammamia says, they can pigment. Chat with your surgeon to be sure.

I flew back from Prague 3 days after my surgery. I clutched my boobs just in case but nothing, completely fine =) Surgeon had cleared me as fit to fly before I went back home too. x

Re: Holiday after BA
Went skiing 6.5 weeks post op...! (albeit for 2 days). Flight was fine, skiing also fine, you are almost back to normal by then, but just being a bit careful with lifting and strenuous exercise.
I used to wear 32A bras (although now i know i should have been a 30" band). message me if you want to see pic trail. I had 345cc rounds so bigger than you are going xx

Re: Holiday after BA
Hope it all goes well for you, I personally would be gutted if I couldn't go swimming on hol! So for this reason (as well as a few others too) iv decided to wait till AFTER my hol for my surgery date.
Although it would be lovely to wear a pretty bikini on hol and have that feeling of pride (rather than dread!) at getting in a bikini poolside lol!

Re: Holiday after BA
You can go but it won't be too much fun. No swimming, no sunbathing, no bikini's. You'll have to fully cover up (T-shirt). x

Re: Holiday after BA
I'm 9 days away from my BA - and I go on holiday 4 and a half weeks later.... I decided it was more important to get my boobs done so I don't mind covering up and not swimming, I've found some crop tops that are quite high necked so I'm gonna wear those over my sports bra for sunbathing in, so I can still tan the rest of my body :-) And I can paddle in the sea too..... Will be a good opportunity to rest up and recover, my OH will get to carry my bags for me lol :-) I will take hibiscrub for when I shower too to make sure my scars stay nice and clean too x

Re: Holiday after BA
6 weeks is extremely early to be exposing your scars in public pools, it's usually 12 weeks so I personally wouldn't do that. Bikini might be OK at 8 weeks but chest area must be fully covered until 6 months, so will have to be worn under something.

Re: Holiday after BA
I've just been to Barcelona for work at 6 weeks. I was fine carrying luggage etc.
I wouldn't have wanted to be getting my boobs out on a beach or anything though, they are still so firm and round and I don't think look 'nice' in a bikini.
Also my incisions are closed but I am still SO scared of infections so I wouldn't want ANYTHING touching. Sand etc would just be awful. But maybe that's just me though xx
