I've been reading some posts with girls saying that if you do lots of weight lifting and high intensity exercise - inc push ups, etc. that partials are a bit of a no-go.

Has anyone heard this or been told by a surgeon? I'm massively active & train hard at least 3 times a week & ideally want to get back to that as quickly as my healing will allow post op. Another qu for the surgeon as well I guess but just wanted to hear thoughts x

Because they're attached to the muscle it can sometimes cause muscle distortion. This can be minor and unnoticeable like mine, they just jump when I flex, or it can be severe and sometimes very upsetting. It's definitely something you need to bring up with your surgeon if you do a lot of upper body work outs

I go to body pump classes, the instructor has Breast implants under the muscle and she lifts not much different to the guy who also runs the class!! She also does attack and compact high impact high energy classes.
I spoke to her about unders and exercise and she said in the 3 years she has had implants there had not been a problem.
This is not to say that everyone is different, I just wanted to explain a case where there has been no distortion after unders :)
I told my surgeon I do a lot of exercise and don't want it to be compromised and he said the distortion is quite rare x

Thanks ladies. Something that I'd read on a different forum put me in major panic mode! Another question to add to my list for when I go back next week x

Possibly...haha! Just trying to get as much info as possible. Going through MYA so signed up to theirs. There's a lot of non-research going on over there though x
