Sorry to keep going on but im just feeling so unhappy and disappointed. I keep getting really upset because I so wanted to feel happy and pleased after my ba.  There is a number of things upsetting me and just keep waking up wanting my boobs to look different. firstly they feel small hardly no diff to what I had before just abit fuller I wanted them to be atleast and E cup and they certainly do not look it, also my nipples look massive and quite ugly, I also feel like I have skin that still needs filling doesn't look tight and my nipples are quite low. basically not they lovely boobs I expected. I feel as if my boyfriend is trying to be nice but can see he thinks there rubbish and I cant believe ive spent loads of money to feel like this! I am also dredding my friends asking to see them and thinking they are ugly . Really wanted the ba to give me a confidence boost and I feel like hiding away now and just wish I hadn't told everyone I was getting them done as im getting messages like 'oh bet they look great cant wait to see them'. I am constantly looking online for info on revision surgery but I had the pure implants which I think are harder to replace I think I would be happier a lot bigger. I know Im only a few days post op but I feel so disappointed!

Have you started a picture trail lovely? I wonder if they are really as bad as you think they are.
At the end of the day the implants do exaggerate what you had before, If one nipple is higher than the other to start with, with bigger boobs it will look even higher! - I do believe the surgeon should have gone through this all with you at the first consultation.
As we have all said, give them time, with bandages etc you really can't see what they are going to look like. The bandages maybe tighter on one side meaning the nipple is higher for example.

In my first consultation I was told,
My right is bigger than my left - but not enough to have a different implant.
My right sits lower so the crease is lower
My collar bone sticks out on my left
My chest bone is higher in my right
There's not much breast tissue at the top, so my boobs are at the bottom but also to the sides
My nipples aren't straight and both point out!
Half of these things I knew but half I didn't!!

Please give them time lovely, 375 certainly isn't some.. they'll only get bigger with dropping and fluffing! Hug xx

Agree with Sarahlou.

You still have so much healing to do, and everyone I have spoken to has warned me about 'Frankenboobs' at this stage of healing! They will be hard, swollen and odd looking for the first few weeks. You've had major invasive surgery afterall. There was a lady on here not long ago what wasnt happy and she decided to just ignore her boobs, come off the forum and re-focus for a good 8 weeks or so. I think we get sooo focused on boobs boobs boobs because of the excitement and planning etc, we are always going to have a degree of feeling upset and overwhelmed at the end of the journey.  I think you need to try and ignore them for a bit and let them heal more. If you are still really unhappy definitely go back to the surgeon. Part of their service is ensuring their clients are satisfied with results so don't feel bad about arranging a chat just to talk to him/her.

Chin up lovely xx group hug

You've said it yourself, you're only a couple days out of surgery! Unfortunately it's not like in the papers where you walk out and voila, perfect boobs. It takes time. A long time. So let's walk you through this. They're going to look hideous right now, and the booby blues and GA leaving your body is going to make you very upset about it. You'll feel helpless and a bit 'what have I done'. This is a totally normal feeling. Right now, you need to not examine them, stay away from mirrors, drink plenty of fluids and get plenty of sleep. Around day 5 you'll start to feel a bit more human, but they'll still look weird. Your nips are massive because they're stretched and swollen. This will go down in 2-3weeks. After that, it really is a patience game. Take pictures once a week only, but don't look back over them until some time has passed. That will give you the best view of the changes happening.

I know I'm going though this in a logical way, and this is an emotional time, but please believe me that most girls go through this, and come through the other side. We're here in the meantime :)

Hi , I know to you it may seem as though it's not going to change, everyone says give it time, and I know it's how you are feeling right now. You see that your boobs are not how you imagined them. This is because you are new PO, please listen to the advice given above and give it time. You will see so many changes. Don't ever feel like you are moaning on here. We are all here for your support, so if you feel like getting it off your chest that's just fine. I think we all expect to come out of surgery and have wonderful boobs, but that's not always the case new PO. There is so much going on with your boobs right now. It can be one higher than the other. Square boobs. Funny looking nipples, mine I had a nasty ridge at the top of my right and you could see it. I had one under my armpit. One highe than the other. Smaller than the other. I thought hmmmm not how I imagined it. But you really need to take a step back and wait. Sending big hugs your way. You will be happy in time. Prong even be looking at revision. Because chances are you won't like the 2nd result a few days PO either. You will get there. Xxxxx

I thought I had just sent a reply to this but its seems to have disappeared. Thank you all for your advice you are all definitely making a lot of sense and I need to take this advice on board. My plan is to take a step back and stop obsessing let my boobs settle and wait till I see my surgeon on Friday atleast to discuss my concerns. I'm feeling very uncomfortable and sore and just extremely emotional what am I like pull yourself together women lol! Once I get my phone back I will take a few pics and make a picture trial and keep track of my progress without obsessing too much. I am probably being very harsh and crictial about my boobs but for some reason I cant help it! I am going to go and get myself a nice healthy dinner and then have a shallow bath and wait for my partner to finish work he will be picking our little boy up and bringing him home tonight so I will certainly have something else to concentrate on and he will make me smile a lot more!   ive noticed I am extremely swollen and bruised  all down the side of my stomach which is making me look a strange shape I will have to see what my surgeon says about this on Friday aswell but for now to calm down and look after myself. thank you again ladies xx

It's a good idea to start a picture trail so you can see the positive changes that will happen. You will also find you will have bloating in your tummy area. That's another thing we can get down about. It's all part of the journey. In a couple of months you will probably see other girls on here posting exactly the same, and you will be giving your advice because you have been through it your self . Xxx

Sorry to hear you feel this way Hun, but you are only a few days post op.
The whole excitement and pre ba run straight after it's like an anti climax, the discomfort, lack of movement, lack of sleep, the painkillers, the ga and frankenboobs can make you feel low.

It's going to take months and months before they look like the finished result.

Your nipples will return to normal they can look big and puffy post ba. But will return to normal.

As for looking small ,mthey won't, they're high wide apart, no movement at the moment they will soften, relax, and come together slightly to give you natural boob shape.

It's physically impossible to look how you were pre ba. You have x amount off cc put in there they ARE bigger!

Try not to examine them at the moment. Just let the healing take place don't over analyse. Xx

Agree with everything said! Have you seen any other picture trails? Might help you realise how different they look as time goes on. Message me if you think it would be helpful to see mine.

Post by Blondie14 18th March 2015, 3:51 pm

thanks everyone this is the kind of advice I would normally tell myself but keep letting my emotions run away with me think its defo down to ga , tiredness, soreness and so on. Keeping positive now and trying not to keep looking at my boobs as if they going to have changed straight away im looking forward to sharing my picture trial with you all hopefully get some reassurance that all is normal. My nipples were never small but have gone much larger since ba which im not too pleased about glad to hear they should go down again. Mammiamia I have inboxed you would be great to see some pic trials have seen quite a few but none have been similar to me just yet so I cant really compare. I must admit though on the ones I have seen the changes that happen and the end boobies look so much nicer then straight after op! xxx

Aah blondie, big hugs. I'm still pre op but the advice the ladies above have given does make so much sense and remember they have been there. It must be hard to remember that there are so many changes to come when you've been anticipating this moment for so long, but we've asked so many questions to these lovely ladies and we've always trusted their advice so I think this is definitely time to do it again. Your boobs will get there. I've just seen the progress 2 weeks have made to SarahLous so bide your time. I hope you feel happier soon xx

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] they will changeso much. I was worried about this too so I asked my surgeon. He said to me, as there is no risk of them moving in the wrong way, ending up under yr armpits, rotating etc. That the pocket is actually bigger for furries so it gives them more freedom :)
You will be fine. This first bit is so hard! Its all we think about, checking them constantly, looking at other people's AVIs and picture trails, comparing ourselves. In the end I had to outlook at mine for a while. Looking back now at how they looked post op, they looked bloody great considering! Although back then I could have, and did cry!

Thank you, I'm already feeling a million times better and it's been one week so I know ur right!     I've just added a few pics to my pic trial and they do look better already wish I hadn't got myself so worked up and sad now lol I do think I should have gone bigger thou as I feel like my skin should be tight around the implant if that makes any sense ? Which sort of makes me worry that they will sag in future :-/ will being that up with surgeon when see him!xxxxxx
