When can I sleep on my side? Empty When can I sleep on my side?

I had my revision  15th Dec.  I'm worried my implants will rotate  or something if I lie on my side but it's been nearly 6 weeks x

I started sleeping on my side at 3 weeks, I checked first with my surgeons cosmetic nurse. She said it was fine to do so as long as I was comfortable and not in pain. It was heaven :dance:At 6 weeks you should be fine, if it hurts just move around a bit til you're comfy x

You'll be absolutely fine to try sleeping on your side again now Lou.

If you're finding any discomfort at all, then it's back to your back and try again in another week, but at 6 weeks post-op you really shouldn't have any problems at all.

Just remember th rule of thumb - always listen to your body. Xx

Hi Lou I was told 4 weeks, but I didn't feel ready until 5. I was worried at first but now it's ok. I used a v pillow like you I have anatomicals so had the same worry. It will feel like bliss when you do. Xxxx

I'm 5 days behind you, and for the past 3 mornings I've realised I've woken up on my side.  Prior to that I'd be waking up in the night because it was uncomfortable.  It's much better now though, but of course there's still the getting used to having boobs resting in my bingo wings haha x

I'm sure it's extra scary when you've had a revision because you have had problems, but you have given your body plenty of time to start up its healing process, so I'm sure as the girls have said you'll be fine.

Thanks I do have slight rippling on the slower pole of my left breast but that's because I had no tissue hardly and I had rippling before I'm hoping it gets better as the capsule forms over time and it's not visible. I think more of us has it to some degree under around where the scar is don't we?. The shape looks very natural I'm very pleased

I don't think I have any. My outer shell makes it very difficult to see or feel any rippling though. Another reason I cose them x

Few months for me, even now it's not overly comfortable sometimes. Depends how big your implants are x
