Soo pleased for you!! Driving is fine. If you feel comfortable on your back... should also be fine. Each day sees a little improvement, but you still need to listen to what your body is telling you.

Hiya
You should be fine with that I had to drive on day 9 as I had to go back to work...I just drove like a learner...you know the wheel-feeding sort of way. They do say it should be 2 weeks tho.
As for sleeping you will find yourself unconsciously moving onto your side and even sometimes onto your tummy and waking up thinking 'Oh how did that happen!!!'.

Re: I can sleep on my side....
Thanks everyone, i know it was a bit naughty of me to drive, i too was driving like a learner and trying not to change gear to much!
I don't feel any pain so i think i was probably ready to drive. I am lovin being able to sleep better now, i actually am looking forward to bed tonight instead of dreading it. Oh and no boob pain in the morning which was even more of a bonus! :) .

Wow hun, dunno about driving as I don't have a car here in London, but I didn't attempt sleeping on my side til about 4 weeks, it just felt weird and it still does a bit!

Go with what your body tells you... if it hurts don't do it!
I slept on my side at 10 days after I had my stitches removed... ohhhh it was bliss!!!
I also drove at 5 or 6 days post op (but had overs).
Just take things steady. Angel x
