hi ladies, I'm now day 9 post op, my right boob hurts right at the top, very tender when I touch it. Also my boobs have gone soft underneath is this ok? X x x

My right hurt yesterday as well right at the top was so sore, I just took sum painkillers, woke up this morning and it's gone. Mine are itching like mad xxxxx

Sounds fine to me, they're going to be full of weird sensations at they heal at different rates. Painkillers and ice packs. 

Ice packs will help the itching too, or if it's getting too bad, take an antihistamine.

It's itching where the inscions are, so I can't put ice packs on them can I? Oh well suppose it's a good sign ov healing xxx

Yes my skin is itching underneath boobs, just looked at incisions, left one is looking good, right one is more bruised. How about you? X x

Same Hun my right is a lot neater and less bruised but the right is the one that is more swelled so that's obviously had a bit more trauma xxx

Ah, not on the incisions. But itchy incisions is good, means they're healing up nice! Like I said, if it gets too bad, take an antihistamine. If it's itching from rubbing on the bra, try a panty liner to pad it out, sticky side to bra obviously!

I had the same Emma. Still got sore skin on right at the side. It's just nerves healing xx

As the swelling goes down you'll find your skin starts to go very dry and it'll get itchy and the skin starts to retract after the swelling. Using moisturiser on your skin to help keep it nice and moisturised and supple will help with the itchiness too. But as the ladies have said, ice packs are fab! But definitely not near your incisions. If you put the ice near your incisions it constricts the blood vessels and will hinder your healing, so only ever on the tops of your boobs. Xx

Has it helped with the itching Emma? I know it did for me. I was clawing at my boobs whilst the swelling was going down but the moisturiser really helped. Xx

Yup, once that moisture gets back in they feel loads better. 

It's horrible when you're itchy though, so I'm glad things have eased up for you now xx
