CUI vs Natrelle?
I have been offered two different makes of implant. Cui and Natrelle, the only difference I can make out is that Natrelle have an extra layer of casing/shell. Does anyone have an opinion on either?
Many thanx xx

I can remember when i went for my first ever consultation with MYA they do this too. My opinion is i would of when with the Natrelle personally, as it extra protection, little bit more expensive but worth it. xxx

Re: CUI vs Natrelle?
It's a generation thing, so cui are 3rd Gen and natrelle are 4th (I think). They are both perfectly safe product, just think of it like own brand vs finest. For me, I went for the natrelle because it came with extended aftercare, and was only £500 more.

Re: CUI vs Natrelle?
CUI are a budget range implant where as the natrelles are a premium implant , although CUI are budget range the are still tested to the highest standard, it's all down to personal choice & which you prefer.
As Charli has said read through some previous posts on this topic you may find this a help in deciding.

Re: CUI vs Natrelle?
I've got Natrelle's. They felt a lot stronger and sturdier than the CUI's. My PS described CUI's as 'flimsy'. They're also more prone to rippling. Obviously they're safe and a good implant but after having PIP's I wanted the best x

Re: CUI vs Natrelle?
I have to be VERY honest here...
I've always said on here that as far as saftey goes ALL implants currently on the UK market are perfectly safe and the budget implants tested to the same strategic standards as the premium implants.
After my first CUI implant it ruptured after 3 years. I put that down to 'unlucky me' so when I had to change implants I researched extensively and could find no reason at all for me not to have the CUIs replaced.
My second set of CUIs lasted 4 years.
Now one set, I'll give that the benefit of the doubt. Two sets....nahhhhh, there's something not right for them to have so little time in them.
I had no choice this time because I HAD to have an anatomical implant so thr 410s Natrelle range were it.
If I were having rounds again - I'd VERY much pass on the CUIs. 2sets of implants in 7 years just isn't good enough for 'me'.
This is 'MY' personal experience, so I don't want anyone with CUIs panicking. As I said, they're perfectly safe. NO implants in the UK will ever affect your health. I'm just sharing my experience having used the CUIs myself. Xx

Re: CUI vs Natrelle?
I think my surgeon told me today as of January you won't be able to choose CUI's only replace them! They are discontinuing them! Apparently there not approved in America anymore! So he told me to change and suck it up and pay for naterlle ones! I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's what he told me :) xx

I'm unsure about CUIs being removed from the UK market But I do know they've NEVER been FDA approved.AP1993 wrote:I think my surgeon told me today as of January you won't be able to choose CUI's only replace them! Good job we don't live in America isn't it. We live in the UK and they ARE CE marked and approved for use in the UK along with all other Breast implants used 'here'
Nagor implants aren't FDA approved but are one of the best implants on the market - they wouldn't be FDA approved though because they're a British implant and therefore would be approved by UK standards. Xx
