CUI vs Natrelle
Hello ladies, I have been agonising about whether I should upgrade from the standard CUI which Transform offer to the Allergan Natrelle implant (approx 1k more expensive) and following extensive net research think I am going to stick with the CUI, here's why:
Although the additional warranty is reassuring I am already of the opinion that I will need a re-op in a few years anyway, I plan to have children and am prepared for the worst re sagging etc
It would appear that the Natrelle range are silicone rather than cohesive gel (apart from anatomical, which I don't want since it is my upper pole which needs the most filling) correct me if I am wrong, please.
Anyway, just thought I would share as the decision has been doing my head in and hopefully now I am set that CUI are the implants for me!

Re: CUI vs Natrelle
I did quite a bit research on this subject when having my re-op hun.
I found that for the majority of us our implants will only have a ten year shelf life anyway. Some info HERE
As the CUIs are covered for ten years anyway and I plan on having my boobs done again for my 50th then I just couldn't find any good reason for my paying the extra for the Naturelles, so like yourself hun, I decided to stick with the CUIs. xx

Re: CUI vs Natrelle
I had natrelles because id had my kids and was happy with the feel and guarantee, my sisters just booked and got a bargain £4200.00 for natrelles with the hospital group! sure which ever you pick you will be happy x

Re: CUI vs Natrelle
Both types are cohesive silicone gel. Transform told me it would be an extra £600 for the Natrelle's.
CUI's are probably the most popular implants used at the moment so they're certainly well tried and tested.

Re: CUI vs Natrelle
Well interestingly MYA offered me the Natrelles for £460 so the price varies quite a bit between companies BUT I decided that the chances are I would need a re-op around the 10 year mark (hope to get maybe 15 good years - that'll be nice!!) so I opted for the Allergan CUI's. x x

Re: CUI vs Natrelle
They are both cohesive silicone hun as mrsm says, although the natrelles are a slightly firmer gel than CUIs x

I didn't really consider this too important since FDA approval is only relevant in the USA

Re: CUI vs Natrelle
hey hun, I chose to stick with the CUI for exactly the same reasons (want kids in future etc) maybe next time I will choose something else.
