CUI vs Natrelle?
CUIs come as standard in the price I've been quoted by THG, if I want to upgrade to Natrelles it'll cost an extra £500, are they really worth the extra? what are the big differences between them? I have my consult in 3 weeks but wanted to hear non biased opinions before I see the surgeon. Obviously if the surgeon thinks the Natrelles will give me the look I'm after then I'll be guided by him, but I didn't want to be sold on them for some other reason that was unecessary, i.e lifespan, when most implants need replacing in 10-15yrs anyway whatever you get.

Re: CUI vs Natrelle?
I have Natrelles and I am very happy with my results. I have never had the CUI's and I prob would have gone for them however i only paid £100 extra for the Natrelles, now that I have them I wouldn't change them.
They are very soft compared to my friends (CUI's) and I am happy with the size and shape.
The Natrelles come in a variety of profiles and sizes, the surgeon and I discussed size and overall look but he didn't suggest what type /make of implant would be better, this was my decision and no hard selling tactics were used.
Glad I have the implants I have however many ladies on this site have CUI's and are equally as happy.
Good luck hun.

i would always go with the best you can possibly buy, im not saying expensive is best in all cases but just do your research. at the end of the day they could be in your body 15 years like my last implants were im sure you would get your extra £500 if you you divided it by x ammount of years. ive just had a re-op and gone with the allegan naterelles trx

It's best to research both and see how you feel. I think the difference is mostly the shell and if you get the naturelle inspira soft touch the gel is gummi bear/jelly baby type gel.

I agree they look fab! I am having natrelle implants, but can't decide whether to go for high or extra high profile? I thought the natrelle implants were very soft and also felt for the extra money it was worth paying for. x

Re: CUI vs Natrelle?
Hi Jojo,
I am going to see mr hassan today to go over some questions I have and to check sizes and projection as feel a bit confused! It was mods I was looking at last time with him, and think that's what I need for my frame and to achieve the look I want!
I have sooo many other questions for him like about the stitches, dressings, showering... My mind glazed over last time I think as there was sooo much to take in! So I'm armed witha list this time and going to write down the answers!!!

Re: CUI vs Natrelle?
I'm having the soft touch on Tuesday, 400 extra high profile overs as they were the closest in size to the 380 CUI's I was offered to get me to the size I wanted. I have chosen the soft touch because:
there's less chance of cc
less chance of rippling
lifetime guarantee against rupture (I have a very physical job so for the extra $461 I paid it was worth it, works out to £46.10 per year my peace of mind)
they are FDA approved which the CUI's are not (its an American thing and the CUIs are approved in the UK, I think it's just lack of testing in the US and not because they're not safe, but I am told FDA approval is hard to come by so that was another tick in the box more than anything)
Other points with them are that they come in more projections and so you can get more options with them, and the responsives are the softest so would be more natural I think
I found my clinic barely even touched on the natrelles, I went and researched them and have gone with them for peace of mind because they were not a huge amount of money more

Re: CUI vs Natrelle?
Hi Debsrich,
How did you get on today with your second appointment with Mr Hassan? I am going back on the 20th to see him just before my op to go through the sizes. I agree, so much to take in and want to make sure I get the size just right. I left with soooo many questions and also since reading the board I have loads more!
Princess76, not long now hun. How are you feeling? Mr Hassan was all for the natrelles so def feel like I have made the right decision. xxx

Re: CUI vs Natrelle?
Hi,
So I went back to see Mr Hassan earlier- I feel so happy and content in my choice to go with him! I know I'm going to get what I want with him! He has put down to order 4 different sets of natrelles- 445 or 485 in mod, 520 or 560 in full- I trust him to decide what works best!
I am having the doughnut/benelli lift, and he explained this fully, and showed roughly where nipple will move to. I am also having 2 moles removed from breasts- which he has lpoked at and assessed- I was concerned about whether the implant wouldstretch the mole wound- he has thoroughly reassured me that if there was any revisions needed to any part of the surgery, it would be covered, and he said he is so meticulous he wants perfect results. I felt so reassured by this as it's realistic to look at what could go wrong and how he would address it- although this year he has only been ask to do 1 revision which wanted to do anyway!
I wanted to check with him regarding stitches etc- he said he used dissolvable stitches with glue over the top so are water tight- he puts light steritape over incisions, and wants his patients to shower the day after the op- with no soap, then pat towel dry. Result!!!! The thought of no shower for 14days?!?! Eeeekk!!!
He will put the chest band on me for the first night only.
He hates using drains due to additional risk of infection. And soaks the implants in anaesthetic and antiseptic.
Post op he said there's no real NEED to see him until 3months, but he said he will always see someone that wants to see him, or has an issue- and I did witness this last time I went in as he was over-running due to seeing someone that rang up a few hours early!!
Sorry for the long essay!!!
I am sooooo excited now, and so pleased with my decision!!
I can't wait to see and hear from you girlies that are with mr hassan before me!!!!
xx

Oh that all sounds fantastic hun! I'm so pleased with Mr Hassan, I know he will do a great job! He said the same to me about the drains & he does seem very meticulous with his work. He told me he'd carried out 150 of these ops over the summer alone & again reinforced he had a very very low revision rate. I will let you know how I get on 2 weeks today! Yippeee xx
