steri Strips
Just wondering how long I need to keep putting steri strips over my incisions ?
I am 19 days post op & have 1 more set left & just wondered if I should get some more tomorrow ?

Re: steri Strips
It'll be entirely dependent on the advice you were given by your nurse. For me it was 2 weeks, others it might be longer. Ring the clinic to be sure, and if needs be, you should be able to get some from your local gp surgery.

Re: steri Strips
mine was 3 weeks, so you can see it's quite individual.
like the other girls have said, best thing to do is check with your clinic x

Re: steri Strips
After my 1st post op check ( dressings and steri strips came off) I didn't have to put anything over mine.
Like the other girls have said it's your surgeons choice and you don't want to lose your aftercare.

Re: steri Strips
Mine came off at my 1 week check. The nurse told me to leave them to dry out and when I come back to see surgeon 6weeks post op he will tell me what to put on the incisions x
Everyone's aftercare is so different just go by your own x
