Re: Dressings
Yes, mine stayed on for a week , then the nurse changed them. I had to stop her from putting the new ones on as I wanted a look first!!!

I know just beforehand you get excited to get them then you get excited to see incisions and to see your final look, patience was never one of my virtues lol. I really hope you get some good news in your next appointment tink you deserve it xx

Re: Dressings
I'd leave them alone if I was you as you don't want to risk any nasty things getting in there. I have to wait three weeks before I can touch mine. I've only got one more week to go but I feel your frustration lol.
Hope you are happy with your new arrivals

Re: Dressings
Hey,
It was a week before I could have the dressings off and even then the nurse asked my surgeon if he wanted to take the other one off as he wanted a look at how they were healing and they were fine - was glad of the shower the next morning.

Re: Dressings
yeah you really need to as you can disturb the incistions and they might not gel together proper then you can easily get an infection and a bad infection and can lead to an implant needing to be removed for up to 6 month, behave lol, ur warned haha xx

Re: Dressings
Lots of advice up here already- yes leave them alone :) When I went to see the nurse at transform she gave me a mirror so I could have a good look at my incisions :) And she didn't even redress them and was given just pads to wear as mine had healed really well. I hope yours do too xxx

Re: Dressings
Just echoing the girls, leave well alone. Playing with them leaves them susceptible to infection. Your nurse will change them at your post op and advise.
