Were you told not to shower until you've seen the nurse at 7 days? You should be fine though x

So do I, it is easily done though I washed my face the day after with just my sports bra on and water trickled all down my bra I had to undo it and dry it quick it didn't get my dressings luckily. When I wash my hair I do it fully dressed with a towel wrapped round my shoulders and tied with a hair bobble so no water can accidently trickle down. Be really careful and wear a rain coat if you have to lol xx

Do make sure the wound is thoroughly dried babe, if it's damp it can become a breeding ground for bacteria to its important to make sure its bone dry.

The reason you're not to remove the dressing is that you could disturb any healing that is already happening and set yourself back Dawn, so don't disturb that lovely. Hopefully you get the all clear to shower in a couple of days anyway, but if not, it may be wise to book an appointment at the hairdressers just for a wash and blow to prevent this happening again sweetheart. xx

Hopefully everything is fine hun, should your breast show signs of swelling (more so than you have already), feel hot to the touch, or you have any additional drainage then ring your nurse. x

The pain from your incision is normal this early post-op Dawn.

Just watch for any secretion that may start coming from the incisions, or if they start to smell. Watch for a rise in your temperature, a general feeling of being unwell along with other symptoms from your breasts, swelling, heat or excessive pain, if you suffer anything at all like that lovely, then do call your clinic. xx

You'll get your dressings changed/removed tomorrow then anyway Dawn after the nurse has done a wound check, so you should get some reassurance there tomorrow babe.

Have you tried using a panty liner/ sanitary towel against your incision, taped to your bra Dawn, I know it sounds mad but it really helps stop the irritation caused by the bra band against your incision hun. xx

went really well, she said she couldnt see no swelling and the scars are healing lovely and the reason one side does hurt slightly as other side i feel nothing is that side is bruised. she said i am all ok to shower now, but have to wear bra still for a few more weeks, why is it that we have to wear bras constant? not really thought why that is? i think my boobs look a good size so hope the wont shrink or Renato will be seeing me sooner than he thinks lol xxx

Sounds like you're healing really well Dawn.

We wear our bras to help the implant settle into position hun, the bra keeps the breast stable enabling the implant to adhere to the pocket. xx
