Dressings off!
I've been back for my check today, I'm on day 15 and I can now have a SHOWER!!! I'm thrilled, it was the first thing that I did when I got in, even before having a cuppa! ohhhh to feel water from my wet hair running down my back and to feel CLEAN!
On the way home I called in M&S and La Senza for new sports bras, in the changing room in M&S I overheard the woman measuring a lady, she said that at one time they measured band size and cup size, now they measure band size, visual check and then guess! she said its because even in the same shop they have different brands and sizing is different
I decided to forget the sports bra then and try some nice pretty ones on instead and went to La Senza too  and she was right! I fit into a 34DD and a 36D in 2 different types in M&S and a 36DD in La Senza, I didnt realise the sizing was so different between shops?
Anyway, I'm really happy, I'm pleased with how my incisions are healing (had the uplift too) and all is good!

Its the best shower I've had in my life! I thought she'd put steri strips back on but she hasn't, so I was very careful!

Re: Dressings off!
Thanks girls
I've added some pics now if anyone wants to see, I'm really happy with the scars that you can see, I was dreading having the uplift but I'm glad I did now :)
Password etc same as before but pm if you've not got it. I've also got updated day 13 pics of my eyes, which dont look anywhere near as gruesome as they did on day 1

Re: Dressings off!
Thanks for sharing Rachel!!
Looking really good!! Your boobs and eyes have certainly healed very well indeed and great result!! The difference the uplift has made is brilliant you must be thrilled. The scars are neat too, I use dermatix on mine which has helped. You will feel your boobs soften and drop pretty soon I would think now with overs too. Enjoy

Re: Dressings off!
That's great news glad you doing so well x
They took my bandages off today too, but put dressings on for just a couple more days, so my shower will have to wait a bit longer
I was so excited about seeing before they put more dressings on, I jumped off the bed, went to the mirror and then near enough passed out!! :pale:
I had to have a little lay down......

Yep! I got some alcohol gel stuff they use in hospitals for patients that can't be washed. My mum had some after her hysto and it was brilliant. Well, it did the job!

Re: Dressings off!
Thanks
I might try some dermatix Mia, would I be able to start using it now or wait a few more weeks? Can I get it at Boots or is it online? x
I never thought about using that gel Roxy! I have some too because I was using it every 5 mins for my hands just incase I touched my eyes!

Re: Dressings off!
Thanks for letting me see - wow that uplift has done its job, they really look much more perky don't they? and yes I can see they still need to drop but they will be lovely and full when they are properly settled - a real transformation, bet you're glad you've done it now. I'm getting a bit jittery, only 3 days till I'm done....

As far as I am aware Rachel you can start using when scars are fully closed, it helps to soften heal and fade the scars. I started at 6/7 weeks when I had chat with P.S. and I asked about it. I would call clinic and ask if O.K. first at this stage. It is very expensive around £90.00 for 30grams from boots etc. though can be obtained on presciption in England. There are also different brand names i.e. Kelecote etc. I bought mine from e.bay for around £30.00 for the large 60gram tube. Good Luck xxx
