Holiday and new boobs!!
Girlies,
I want to book a holiday after I've had op. When would you say it's completely safe to go abroad and some where really hot, I don't want to still be in sports bras and I want them completely healed because I don't want to take no chances with them. I'm looking at holidays now and really want to book one..... Just don't know when for, sooner the better though!!
Thanks girls. Xx

Re: Holiday and new boobs!!
Oh bummer! What if I did go, how would I cover my scars? Sun doesn't cause rippling does it? My friend who has hers done said the sun caused her boobs to ripple - I don't know how true that is tho! Xx

Re: Holiday and new boobs!!
No.it shouldn't
U need to keep.scars covered in bikini etc for a year or it can.cause pigmentation
You have these boobs for years now so the first year being careful can be hard but so worth it xx

Re: Holiday and new boobs!!
Hiya, honey!! Like Tink says I'd definitely wear a LOT of suncream on your new boobs. Because you're getting massive implants your skin will be stretched a lot-- hence causing your skin to be very thin and very vulnerable to the sun's rays. I'd say a minimum of 10-12 weeks, wearing factor 50 on your chest. When buying bikinis make sure that they would cover your incisions.. So don't get a flimsy bikini, get one that covers your whole boob.
Good luck and I hope you find a holiday that's perfect for you!! :):)
Take care xxxxxx

Re: Holiday and new boobs!!
I waited a year to get mine out on holiday in the sun. I only sat in the garden for half an hour at 8 weeks post op and my chest area was bright red. It was awful. I don't normally burn either. Unfortunately the harmful rays from the sun can get through a bikini to the scars which although you won't tan or burn it could cause pigmentation. Always better to be safe than sorry. I'd still treat yourself to a holiday but maybe a city break rather than a bikini holiday.
Re: Holiday and new boobs!!
Yeah babe, that's a good idea. I may just go to a city break! Just don't want to jeopardise them in any way shape or form! Thanks babe. Xx
