Pilly - 6 kids?!?! And I thought 2 babies was challenging! Good god! You deserve those boobs!! Haha! Yes, go ahead with details on PM. Looking forward to having a cuppa with you.
I'm moving back to Plymouth in 6 months so clearly plymouth is the place to be BizzyBoobs! Move and we can start a big boob singing group.
I'm 100% joking. But I grew up there and it's a great place to be X

Happy birthday Blondiebex! Have a great day at Westfield, i usually go to Jamie's Italian for a vanilla martini when i go there lol!
Kel you're doing better than me my op is on 28th and I've bought nothing. I'm going to get some arnica today and definitely a v pillow as well as the things you've mentioned.
I was advised by my PC to wear a tracksuit and take button up pyjamas xx

Louise I will administration been a roller coaster and there were days when I really questioned why I'd done it, but that's natural when you put your body through such trauma babe. I don't regret it at all now, I love love love my new big boobies! It's all so worth it chick I promise you that. I know it must be scary to read it BUT when you feel down and depressed post BA you can also remind yourself that we've all gone through it and it's totally normal and it DOES pass xxxLouise14 wrote:Hi girls I haven't posted on this thread for a while but I hope everyone is ok.
The downside of having my op right at the end of the month is that it feels like everyone is post-op!!
I'm really starting to get cold feet now...I'm absolutely dreading all the physical and emotional downsides that many of you are describing. I guess it's all part of the process though xx

Re: September Buddies
Sassy i think reading your first post-op posts really made me think harder about what I was about to do because its so easy to get whipped up into an excited frenzy about your BA and then all of a sudden...it's... not.... quite...what.....we...thought.
I'm trying to think of it as being like my c-section. Afterwards I was on morphine and felt like death warmed up. I was constipated so bad (sorry for tmi) and swore I'd never have another baby and now of course when I look back i'd do it all again in a heartbeat
At least I can come on here and discuss all my woes!

Re: September Buddies
Yea this forum and the girls here is what got me through! I wont lie it was hard, for me it was the blooming strapping..... I couldn't see my boobs and I didn't know what was going on under there so my mind was going crazy imagining the worst! When the strapping came off and the nurse said everything looked great I was so so relieved and I've pretty much loved my boobs since.
What I have since gathered about the strapping, it's just a week of discomfort and that's all. Once it's off life is pretty much back to normal, there are no dressings covering the incisions, I could shower normally, my stitches are dissolvable so don't have to worry about that......
I'm sorry if my posts made you think twice babe, I didn't want to put anyone off. But if it helps, I WOULD do it all again in a heartbeat. I love love love my boobies

Sassy i just admired your honesty to say hang on a minute i'm feeling really crappy at the moment. I can imagine when you're in that much discomfort everything gets out of proportion, thats how i get when i'm really tired.
Also made me realise how personal my BA journey is to myself...no matter how much you compare stats and sizes etc ultimately girls will wish they went smaller or bigger.
How are you feeling about your size now Sassy?

Re: September Buddies
They're still big but I'm getting used to them. I wouldn't want them any smaller now definitely, nor any bigger though, they're perfect! . I think it was just a mega shock going from nothing to very well endowed. Under some clothes you can't even tell they're bigger but under others they look mahousive! I have a teeny waist too so in very fitted clothes it excentuates them. I love them

I've just taken the 2nd lot of dressings of like I was instructed too on day 13 and I have bare incisions!! They are tinyy!! Considering I had 460... The scar is no longer then 4/5 cm!!! I'm in shock lol :) looks really good so far...
I'm just really aware of then feeling bare now! Xx

Technical Q (I'm still armed with so many little questions, they'll be seeping out until my op on Thursday, I'm afraid). I'm having under the muscle implants. Does this make a huge difference to over the muscle implant? More pain?

You can ask us or you can post a new topic in the general section :) we dm answering!
Unders are supposed to be a little more uncomfortable then overs yes but again it depends on the individual really, we have ladies here who have had unders and felt fine within a week and lady's with overs down for two weeks but yes overall unders may be a little sore :)
But again it's not pain! It's discomfort xx

Re: September Buddies
Righto. Praying for magic genes then. Reading some positive stories really does help. I've had a read of some rupture and CC stories too. Perhaps not the best thing to do pre op. Poor ladies. And it's probably layered with guilt because we asked for this surgery. My heart goes out to them.
I've been unable to order Macom due to stock probs. so I've gone with 2x M&S high impact sports in 2 sizes. I can always get a Macom straight after op if they get the stock in. X

Re: September Buddies
No sassy, had my first fill 2 days ago, then in 2 weeks I get my next one...was amazing I could actually visually see mine inflating (nsaw please don't take notice of this, I have a very very rare implant type that's not offered normally and used in reconstruction, so that's why they inflate,!) So glass that you're finally happy with your boobs sassy....you had me worried for you!!
Hope everyone's healing well, can you believe its almost the end of the month now?!

Re: September Buddies
Yer your be fine nsaw, you won't have experienced having overs so it's not like you will be comparing, your have pain relief if you need it and your be ok :) reading the story's is good because it prepares you but you need to remember that this is a support forum, many women have their BA and happily go on enjoying them, it's normally only if you have a complication that you will go looking for support :)
I know pink princess!! It's almost the end if September! And counting the 40 pages of chat that has been deleted we've spoken over 65 pages lol :) I'm sooo happy I've done this :D I have boobs !! Xx

Aww thanks. You're right. It's all about support so I'm bound to find bits and pieces that I'd probably never come across unless I seek it out.

Re: September Buddies
Haha I know..Wahoo for boobies!!
Nsaw I have unders, and for me I found that looking on her especially with Jen who is a few days apart from me recovery wise, that I was recovering about the same as someone with overs ....but everyone is different!!
Haha following on from another thread about how ridiculous on line bra calculators are, out of curiosity I measured myself (I know I have ages to go, and mine are getting filled up so there's even less point with me...) BUT my stats are :
Underbust: 31 (well 30 1/2)
Overview: 38
So figleaves online=36C/34DD
Pslingerie.com=32FF/33F (HahAhahahahaha no way is that anywhere near...I'm small now and I know it!!)
Lasenza online=36C/34DD
House of fraser=36C/34DD
Boobydoo.co.uk=34GG (probably the most ridiculous online calculator of them all!!)
Royce lingerie=36C/34DD
I HAVEN'T DONE THIS TO FIND MY SIZE, JUAT TO PEOVE HOW MUCH ONLINE CALCULATORS VARY, AND HOW MEASURING THE TRASTIONAL WAY DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE, HAVING A PROPER FITTING IS THE ONLY WAY TO KNOW YOUR SIZE, EVEN THEN, IF IT DOESN'T FEEL RIGHT GOGO UP OR DOWN A CUP OR BAND COS DIFFERENT BRANDS CAN FIT DIFFERENTLY JUST LIKE CLOTHES
XX
Oh...not sure what the caps lock is all about, can't be bothered typing it all again, soz!!
