Re: September Buddies
Awwwwwww sassy, this is unlike you babe. Im sure come Tuesday you will feel differently. Perhaps you got a bit of booby blues...... It's probably not helping with all strapping on..... Bless ya...... Chin up babe....
Jen, I'm sure you be o.k Hunni and no infection. Think I'm getting the old piriton in for the itching..... I'm starting to scratch thinking about scratching......... Oh dear............
Well girls I've done my e.mail of complaint, made it a good one. Just got to wait and see. I've said that I should be compensated for loss of earnings, I don't hold much hope but if you don't ask you don't get....... We will see.... Keep you all posted.......
Me and hubby thought as we got a day off tomorrow ( not going there) we would go and have lil drive to the queen Elizabeth hospital and have a look around. Get our bearings
And see if we can have a look around where I will be. It's such a huge hospital. Never been there..... Don't know if it will take my mind off things but its a drive out.............xxxx

4days!! Can't wait, he said he will fill up about 40cc depending on what he thinks my body can take yet, so I'm very excited, wonder how much visual difference that 40cc will make?!
Thank you Jen, he really did have his work cut out, but he has done an awesome job!!!

Re: September Buddies
Didn't know if you had seen ny reply in your "bonding" post sassy, so thought I'd put it here too....
First of all, I applaud your honesty...it's not all rainbows an unicorns (although we all would like it to be-and glitter, lots of glitter, and cute babies, and Prince charming on white stallions, and and and ok I'm getting giddy!) But yeah, it's not an easy straight forward process, having a ba and then suddenly booom you're in love with your new body.
Regardless of whether you're strapped or not, the first few months are full of changes, looking at pics on Google of before and after stages just show that (I sound like a wise owl, with a wealth of experience, but I'm only 10days post op....but I HAVE done a lifetime of research, both medical and emotional. Also I have spent a shockingly large portion of my time on her before and since I got my Bristols (as in cities..ya know t*tties!) And since, like to the extent that I think I may have a problem....)
Anyway up until yesterday, mine still felt very alien to me, I didn't really look at them, and had them hidden under lots of clothes since my ba, but yesterday I just had some time on my own, so I turned the lights down lo---nah, not really, just kidding but I did had a good look, from every angle, set up a pic trail (for myself at first but decided I would share--was feeling brave!!) Looked at the before pics, and cos I was feeling more mobile in my arms (bye bye t-rex arms!!) I tried some tops I wasn't comfortable in before, and I fell in love. Just like that. It's like Shakespeare really, if you think about it. No? Ok but seriously, give yourself time, right now they may feel too big,but they are going to change shape, the swelling go down, and the shape (even if the size doesn't change) can make a big difference. Once you get to the bra wearing stage you can go by yourself and find some things that will make you feel more confident, even if it's just for yourself!
I really hope that's helped...or at the very least made you smile chin up, boobs out, that's the way!

Re: September Buddies
xxxxx Thanks Princess xxxxx thats really sweet of you. I'm sure I'll pick up. I really am trying not to let it get to me and remember how excited I was before the op. I'm back to looking at pic's of Scarlett Johannson (the boobie pics I gave to my surgeon whilst exclaiming 'I want what she has!!!!! Make me Scarlett!!!!') Mr Frati is famous for getting girls the look they want so I'm sure its just the boobie blues. I hope.
Hey are you awake for the next fill??? Do actually see the next 40cc's go in???
Bizzy let us know how the complaint comes along, I can't believe how much **naughty word** luck you've had honey but like I said before, when it finally happens you'll have the smoothest run of us all - deservedly!!! xxxx

Re: September Buddies
I'm not sure either! I think it will make a difference...
I was choosing between 410 and 460 so a 50cc difference and when I looked at all of the measurements I found that the projection was 1cm difference and that the width of the 410 was 11.8 and the 460 was 12.3 so I do think you will see a difference everytime :D xx
Good luck bizzy! Fingers crossed for you, it's worth trying!! Xx

Re: September Buddies
Well the surgeon I'm sure said the width of my implant is 13cm....but after looking on line that doesn't really add up to the volume he said....it would make my implant a maximum 480cc fill (they can be overfilled safely though) and I'm sure he said my implant will be maximum 320cc (but again safely can be overfilled) so I don't know maybe he decided on a bigger implant....I will get it all cleared up on Thursday, I want the brand written down (there are 2 brand of expandables) and the size obviously batch number etc.....will deffo take some before and after pics to see the difference, if any!!!

Re: September Buddies
Sorry didn't see your post sassy (and your welcome!!) Yup, awake, he just access a the port under my skin with a needles, like getting a vein, then the saline solution goes in this special device which means it transfers throughout to the needles from the bottle without touching the air keeping it absolutely sterile and eliminating any contamination risks at all, so I just lie there, he finds the ports, and pumps me up!! Easy!! (I hope it's all as plane sailing as that!!)

Re: September Buddies
Pink princess, thankyou Hunni for kind words. I have made sure I got every point across. It was rather long e.mail. I am writing to them too to express my points..... So glad you are happy with yours, and they will just get better and better......
Sassy, will keep you posted on everything, my bad luck got to be on way out now surely........ I've had my lil share. Onwards and upwards and start looking forward to the next date......
I think when the strapping comes off that will be your turnaround point. I'm sure you will be very happy then..... Every day makes a difference though. I really hope you feel better soon.xxx

Re: September Buddies
Just wanted to add a big:thanks: to all the September buddies who have picked me back up again. I think I turned into a vile person Friday. I had to doña staff meeting on Friday and those poor girls, I think I started to spit venom and my head started to spin...... Like a woman possessed. Poor hubby too, jeeze bet he couldn't get out the door quick enough Saturday.
Mind you I had a bouquet of flowers at work, also when I got home a tedmund bear was sat on my bedside with a card...... Bless him.......
Anyway thanks to you all, you are great. Xx
