BA booked but still confused! Empty BA booked but still confused!

Post by Louise14 4th September 2013, 5:00 pm

Hi ladies

I've now booked my BA with Mr Meleagros at Transform on 28th September. I know this sounds ridiculous but I'm still undecided about size (410cc or 460cc) and implant type (CUI or Natrelle). I'm terrified they'll be too big and at the same time anxious about getting booby greed if they're too small!!!panic

Anyone have similar stats or any advice?
Bra size 36A/B, height 5ft 3, dress size 10/12, I'm hoping to be a D/DD

Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place....should i post in September buddies??

Thanks xx

Hi louise!! I'm also booked in with mr M for the 8th :) I had the exact same problem wether to go with the 410 or 460!!
I went back to see him to talk about sizes which really helped! We decided 460 would be best for me because due to having tuberous breasts they will fill me out better,

I'm 34b, size 12 and 5'9 .... I think I will end up maybe an F.... Ild say go back to see him to talk about it again :) good to see someone booked with the same surgeon!!
Pop by the September thread though and also pop your date in the calendar entries on the home page :) xx

It's not ridiculous to be undecided about size!

The best person to give you an idea about size is your surgeon as he has seen you in the flesh - if you have told him the look/size you would like to achieve then he should be able to give you his advice.

Another way would be to make up rice boobs and try out the two sizes around the house for a bit!

Congratulations on your booking, it's not long at all x

Hi Tinkerbell, do you think you 'look' like an F cup even if that's what you're measuring?? if that makes sense.

Funnily enough the surgeon mentioned during my consultation that mine would end up sitting quite high which although i didn't think was ideal, it didn't put me off. Now you've mentioned about a re-op i'm wondering whether that might happen to me....i hope you're ok and all the best for your re-op xx

You're gonna have some massive boobies starting off a 36A/B and having 410 or 460! I personally say go for the Natrelles - much better quality x

I was pretty much convinced about getting the Natrelles when the surgeon did a little demonstration to show what rippling can potentially look like in both types of implant and it was definitely less apparent in the Natrelles. Just wanted to make sure I'm not spending extra money for nothing.

Thanks girlies I'm feeling a lot clearer already!! :ok:

I'm having allergan natrelle 420. Should take me to DD,E.
I think spire seem to mainly deal with the allergan range. So I wasn't really offered anything else, he just said they would be good for me. So I trust him, and he knows what he's on about...
Not long now Louise, mine are on the 16 th sept........ You will have to join us September buddies... Xx

Louise I was set also but all the surgeons I saw said that for 'me' they increase my chance of rippling and as I'm 21 and will need at least another few more operations, the lifetime guarantee on the implants wasn't a big factor for me... The extra shell that they have over the CUI's isn't much if a difference when you will need another op in the future and loads of ladies have the CUIs and are more than happy so don't worry :) you've made the right choice for you xx

CUI's are usually 'recommended' as it's cheaper for the clinic as they buy them in bulk. Natrelles are premium and definitely better x

Ahh that's interesting thanks Princess_x, funnily enough the PC said there's no real difference between the two but Mr Meleagros recommended Natrelles for me. The PC is probably more inclined to try and save the company money.

I've read loads of posts from girls who are 100% happy with their CUI's but i reckon it'll be Natrelles for me

Yer that's what the PCC is doing because she has no medical training!! Listen to mr M and if he recommended the naturelles go for them because he's the one who will be doing your surgery :) xx

There are two types of Natrelles if you're worrying about rippling - the Natrelle Responsives and the Soft touch.

The Responsives, like the CUIs are 95% filled. So in saying one would ripple more than the other when they both have the same full seems a little strange to me Screwy

The Soft Touch are 100% filled and are the new 5th generation implant. These implants have lessened the risk of rippling. So if its rippling you're concerned about then theses would probably be your best option hun.

I really don't think you're a 36 back babe, being only 5ft 3 and a size 10/12. That a big back size for one so petite!

It may be worthwhile you popping into debenhams and having a fitting to find out your backside babe. This is going to be very important for you post-op because all the support of a bra comes from the band and there's no way you're a 36 so if you continue in wearing this you're not going to be giving any support to your boobs babe.

The suggestion to make rice boobs is a good lone lovely, but if you are overly concerned then do arrange to see your tour surgeon and have a more indepth chat about size, showing pictures of the 'look' you like, rather than discussing the 'size' you like will help you both so much lovely. Xx

It'll be worth it hun, because after your BA you're going to want to maintain that look you get for as long as possible before they start to naturally sag and to do that they need support, which really does all come from the bra band. Xx
