confused now!!
I just got back from a meeting with my patient co-ordanatior as I had some questions that I needed anwsered. I asked her what size bra I should get to wear for after the surgery and she said DD or maybe an E! :pale: Now Im confused because I thought that Mr singh said that 525cc should get me to an F or maybe even bigger! Surely if I am starting from an 32-34 C/D then I'm gonna be bigger than a DD or E? If a cup size is roughly 150cc then 525cc is a good 3 and a half cup sizes bigger! Its not even like I'm starting out with empty C/Ds either!
And some girls start out smaller than me and have smaller implants but end up an E or F! I know cup size is not an exact science but to say 525cc will make me a DD when Im the size I am seems crazy to me! Plus Im only a size 10 and I have narrow shoulders and hips!
What do you girlies think? Am I worrying over nothing? xxx

Re: confused now!!
I think your P.C. needs to be a bit more observant of your implant size and stats? :suspect:
I would think she must be having a 'bad' day!!
I think your thinking sounds right you will be bigger than a DD!! I would call her back and ask how she calculated this bra size? She is paid to advise and support you. You want to get the correct bra size, they do not come cheap and need more informed advice than given. Also most girls including me normally buy a band size and cup size bigger for swelling and comfort. All the best, try not to worry xx

Re: confused now!!
Or, she may be suggesting those sizes to compress your boobs. I was in a B cup sports bra straight after my op as it was comfy and kept them all n place where they should be.
the point of the sports bras is to keep your boobs supported and the tighter the better.
Saying that, I'd maybe clarify the sizing your PCC has advised with Mr S before your op.

Re: confused now!!
with sports bras the band needs to be bigger i had 525cc and ended up a g/gg but my sports bra was a 36d or maybe dd cant remember so to alow for the swelling around the band area go bigger but when going bigger in the band you need to go smaller in the cup so 32E -34DD -36E and so on .your starting with impressive cup size anyways so id have thought an E/F size sports bra xxxxxxx
ps these care co are not surgeons and only know what they have overheard hunny ,i think anyone who has had a BA and researched it would be far better for the job .....now where is those application forms haha

Re: confused now!!
For me it was a really tight painful squeeze getting into a 34D/E sportsbra when I would swap it with my surgical bra and I had 410 unders, so don't know how you are going to manage to get 525 overs in. I'd ask the PS instead just to make sure xx
