a little confused
hi girls,
hoping someone can help me...i feel that my boobs dont have the same characteristics as others that i have read abut on here. basically everyone else early post op talks about having a full upper pole and having more of the implant above the nipple than is below, whereas i dont think this is the case with mine and i am worried that when/if the implant does drop i'm going to look really bottom heavy and completely empty in the top??
i also think i can feel the edge of the implant on the left side underneath but not on the right side? not sure whether i should be concerned about this??
i have photos on picturetrail if someone could give me their opinion on the fullness of the poles and whether i probably have some dropping to do
xx

Re: a little confused
Everyone is different hun, some peoples implants are very high post op, to the point they are near their collar bone, others look very rounded at the top, others look almost healed straight away. I really wouldn't worry, yours shouldn't drop too far, you'll probably find dropping for you will be shape wise rather than the implant actually going anywhere. You'll be fine.
Re: a little confused
i do hope you're right misf, i actually quite like the shape now although they could do with just filling out a little but yea they've never been particularly high up i'm just a bit worried i'll end up looking saggy...i guess only time will tell.
what do you think about being able to feel the underneath edge of the implant on the left side? xx

Re: a little confused
I can't feel my implant now, I used to be able to put my finger underneath it, but when they dropped a bit (mine weren't that high either, just more rounded) and filled out and softened, I found I couldn't feel the edge of my implant at all (grabs boob and has a good feel to check lol) Some people find they can always feel the edge and for some it disappears. You have plenty of time for changes yet.
Re: a little confused
thankyou misf, that is good to know i'll try stop fretting now xx

Re: a little confused
From your avatar, you do have a full upper pole sweetness, it's just not as high as some and that's OK, you had a modest implant in comparison to some, so don't worry about it.
The implant you can feel at the bottom of one breast is fine too, that's nothing at all to worry about, a lot of us can feel the implant at the crease line, but it doesn't effect the look or feel of your breasts at all.
You are still very much healing and you will drop a little as the implant settles, but I think you're going to have a very natural result and one you'll be extremely happy with.
You great babe and don't worry about losing more of the upper pole, as the implant settles and fills our the breast, it gives a more natural positioning, you will not be flat at all, you're looking fab! xx

Re: a little confused
I got the same worry about feeling the edge of the implant lol its really prominent on my right but not so much on the left. Its right along where the scar is, cant feel it up the sides just underneath. Iv had reassurance that this is normal. It seems the slightest little thing and we let our minds go into overdrive haha
I keep feeling it now though cos it feels sooooo strange lol

Re: a little confused
Thankyou girls, its so nice to have reassurance.
Bev you're right, we do go into overdrive worrying about everything, its rather annoying tbh, i cant wait to be fully healed and settled so i can stop worrying quite so much about how theyre going to look.
Thankyou everyone xx
