Re: confused
You can wear what you like if that’s what your ps has told you, the only problem with push up bra's early on is they made me sore by the end of the day. so I got a few comfortable bra's to begin with and a push up bra and only wore it a few hours here and there.
It won’t take long until you can wear what you like without them hurting

Re: confused
I've been wondering what the deal was if you put them on too soon... Makes sense. I've been wearing mostly my sports bra but I have had a few evenings I needed to wear a different bra.
Thanks!

Re: confused
Don't compare YOUR recovery to that of others sweetness, YOUR surgeon knows what's best for YOU and YOUR boobs.
If your surgeon has given you the all clear to wear underwires, then it's perfectly safe to do that hunni.
Often at first you might find underwires a little uncomfortable, so you might have to 'break yourself into them' so to say LOL... start wearing them for an hour a day, then gradually build up the time over a few weeks till you're comfortable enough to wear them for a full day and if you find the wires irritate your scarring at all, try using a panyliner to cushion the bra so it doesn't rub on your scar.
Oh and don't buy lots of bras straight away as you still may have some changes ahead.... I just bought three to start me off with - a black, white and a nude coloured one, they got me through for a few weeks till I realised I had no more changes then went BRA CRAZY! HAHA!
Enjoy bra shopping sweetness! xx

Re: confused
hmm I have never heard that about push up bras before, most girls (if not all) wear push up bras within a year of their op. Maybe a good question to ask one of our surgeons on the forum?
