Ba booked and sports bra question
Hi all,
Just wanted to let you all know that I'm booked in for a biplanar augmentation on September 23rd with Miles Berry at Aurora Clinics. I can't wait, I am so excited.
I've gone for a 345cc (Allergen), moderate profile implant.
In the meantime I am searching for great sports bras. Does anyone have any recommendations for sturdy front fastening bras post surgery. And in fact should I be going for a softer bra at first due to scars etc? I've found this one http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_152010876560_-1 and this one for once I;m more healed [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] do you guys think?
Thanks so much for any advice!
Amy

Re: Ba booked and sports bra question
Hi Hun, I spilt the topic for you and posted in the general section f on advise on sports bras.
congrats on booking firstly, feel free to pop your ba date in the calendar entries section of the forum do we can wish you luck for your big day.
Secondly sports bras, a high impact sports bra like a shock absorber or triumph or for what. Lit of ladies to for a Macom, which on,y needs a back size rather than a cup size. And have been praised a lot by a lot of ladies. X

Hi MrsBall!
Thanks for the advice. I didn't know about Macom, and they look great and are a good solution for sure!
I'll make sure to put my date in the diary.

Congrats on booking your BA! It falls on my birthday haha :)
If you want to you can join the other ladies in the September buddy thread at the top of the general section... its where all of the ladies including me support each other through our month :) My Ba is this sunday (the 8th) ... the macoms are great and recommended here...
By the way, have you read the book your surgeon has written? Its called the good boob bible and you can find it on amazon :) xx

Re: Ba booked and sports bra question
Great :) I am really excited haha, been booked up for what seems like forever and I now cannot wait! There are a few nerves but I feel prepared!!
Glad you've read it :) I took it on holiday with me this year to re-read and the chapter for the partners to read was really great too :)
By the way, in case you dont know yet, on the homepage if you scroll down to calendar entries and pop your date in, when your day comes everyone will be able to wish you luck :) xx

Re: Ba booked and sports bra question
If its a front fastener you're wanting specifically you're best looking at the Macom, or the M&S front fastener.
Front fasteners tend to have a lower band too so they're not sat on incisions like many back fasteners.
Congrats on booking your date babe. Xx

Re: Ba booked and sports bra question
I love the shock absorbers, they are very nice, not frumpy and I found them very supportive and comfy. A lot of girls like the Triumphs, and those were the ones recommended to me by my nurse .
