Hope you slept better Bizzy? And your boobs are less achy today.
I'm sitting in the car wet through waiting for the rain to stop at the car boot, the things we do for friends! X

Re: October Buddies
Morning ladies,
How is everyone doing today?
Bizzy, did you have a fun night? Are you starting to sleep better yet?
Lias, glad you've managed to sort out your pillows. Not long now, the end of this month is fast approaching, everyone will be done soon.
Amyblue, that's a fab size. Where did you go to get the sports bra? I've been told to stay in the support bra for three weeks and then I can wear normal non wired bras. They don't actually want me in wires until around the three month mark, which is a bit annoying, but I suppose it's the advice of the surgeon so I am best to take it.
I need to get some non wired bras as these support bras are quite annoying regards getting dressed in the morning. It's a bit of pain trying to hid it!!
I'm uncomfortable today. My left boob feels achy and it feels like the implant is trying to escape out of the bottom! It's a little swollen up on that side too so I think I may have been trying to do too much again!!
The incision area is really neat though. I think that the scars will be well hidden in my breast crease eventually which is always good.
Well, I hope everyone has had a good weekend. I think I am going to go off and put my feet up for a bit!!x

Re: October Buddies
Morning ladies.......
Lisa, my boobs aren't too bad today, yesterday they were very achey, god knows why.......
The weather in the night, jeeze I thought the roof was going to come off........ So windy...... Never heard rain like it.... It was evil............
I didn't sleep too great, kept waking up, nytol not as good as I thought....... At this rate I will be booking in for my under eye bags to be done
CAB, well like I said no go on the sleeping....... But boobs not achey today. Just bit tender by the incisions.......... First thing I was bit like victor Mildrew, right misery........... Hubby went off to gym, don't blame him either................
So I had nice soak in bath (shallow) and did myself a nice mini facial, shaved underarms and legs, was looking like a hairy beary, well the ones I get, which are sparse. We're bit long, it was shave them or plait them............
Anyway I'm feeling great........ Really perked myself up.... Thought its a waste of time wallowing in self pity........
Just to share....... I managed to get on my genie bra today, it's so soft......... I brought it a few months ago from B.H.S it's a post op bra in pink. Not got lots of support............ But enough I think..........it's beautiful...... Some of the proceeds from the sale go to breast cancer, that's why I brought it....... It's lovely to wear......... It's got lil pads you put in it too. It's really nice around the nips, as mine are so sensitive. I couldn't get it on before as its an all in one jobbie and last time I tried I ended up in a pickle... Like I was playing twister in it........ Anyway....... It be nice for few hours to get away from the others as they are sooooo tight........... So I'm quite liking this at the mo........... For a change..........
That's it really, I'm off to my mums later for a roast and having an easy day. Back to work tomorrow. Which I'm looking forward to now......... Xxxx

Forgot to say, if you're not a pink person hey do the genie bra in black and white, they are in sizes 8,10,12,14 etc. not in cup size....... I've got 12 but think 14 may be bit better on me........
I don't think you could wear this straight after though it would require you lifting arms, it was hard for me I gave up.......I will let you know how comfy it is as day goes on......as not long put it on .......

Sorry your boobs are hurting girls, thanks for the tip Bizzy, was it still comfy? Just bought one as it looks like something I could easily sleep in, I was looking for something like this for long term.
Fab avi zoelucy. Glad it wasn't all too painful for you. I hope the swelling/bruising goes down soon.
Glad you're feeling better Rach
Hope everyone is having a good Monday! X

Re: October Buddies
Hi ladies,
Hope everyone had a good weekend. Ours turned a little rubbish after we all got taken down with a nasty tummy bug. Thank goodness Hubby is good at cleaning up vomit as I really am useless.
Finally starting to feel a little better now. Rubbish feeling pants on top of the boobs being a little sore!!
At least they don't feel like the implants are about to drop out of the bottom today!
Zoelucy, I had exactly that. On day one I looked like I had a giant mono-boob. I was really concerned about it and every time a nurse came to check on me in the hospital I asked about it!! It did go down, it is still a little swollen still now, but nothing in comparison to how it was before.
Rach, glad you're feeling better now. Hopefully it will only get better from here now.
Bizzy, that bra sounds like a nice idea, although I'm still not sure about battling to get it over my head. I'm still in the Macom's during the day, but I did buy a cheaper back fastening high impact sports bra from the supermarket for night times. It's actually quite comfy for sleeping in and gives me a chance to wash the Macom's.
I've been researching non wired stuff, since in two weeks time I can start wearing non wired, but I'm struggling to find anything that doesn't look like it belongs to my Gran!!
Hope everyone is having a good day.x

Hiya cab,
Oh no, sorry to hear about your sickness bug - there is nothing worse than when the whole family gets it!
Are your boobs feeling better now?
I found this one at debenhams that seems less grannified http://m.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_152010805760_-1

Re: October Buddies
Lias,
Yes it was a bit rubbish, thankfully we weren't all fighting over the bathroom at the same time. Unfortunately I was awake from 10.30pm until 3am feeling sick, before I actually was!! Definitely an early night planned for tonight!!
Boobs are starting to feel ok, but the incision area is still a little sore. It stings every so often. I was getting a horrendous amount of electric shock pains through them yesterday, but apparently that's just where the nerves are coming back to life. Still can't feel a large amount of them so hoping they come back to life soon!
Thanks for that Debenhams link, I'll have a look at that.
Not long for you now!!x

Hope you sleep better tonight xx

Zoe Lucy, hi Hunni, glad you are well. It is a shock when you see the swelling. They do look massive when you first take a peek. You soon get used to them, mine was the shock of not having much then suddenly. WHAM I had 2 missiles!!!!! Ready to launch too!!!!
Hi Rachij, glad you are bit more sorted now Hunni, I love the m and s zip front one, I find it bit more comfy than the macom.... But do like macom too. I'm in a genie bra at mo, super comfy for evenings......... Love it...... Just ordered some more...... Can never have enough.........

My day off tomorrow so I'm going shopping with my mum. Then I'm resting as I'm on a 13 hour on Wednesday, that will be hard....... I don't know if it's doing me any good, kill or cure I say.......
Also as you know, as I go on and on about it........ I'm not sleeping, prob got 2 hours last night, well rang docs today and I got diazapan, so if I'm not on here tomorrow. I'm asleep........... I can't wait to get a decent nights sleep...

That's good that your day back at work wasn't as bd as you thought. I hope the diazapan works. I'm not surprised you're a grumpy mare! I would be too!
Yeah I'm excited. I will be even more excited after Friday I think. All my bits and bobs came today including the wheat bag and I realised I will have to get a hot water bottle as well as I'm staying at my parents on the Thursday night and they haven't got a microwave... It's good you would do it all again, it can't be that traumatic then! Both the kids have got colds so I'm hoping I don't catch it and if I do I catch it now so it's over by a week on Wednesday! X

Re: October Buddies
I can honestly say even with my bout of sickness at the begining the worst bit is the lack of sleep........ Which will be sorted tonight........WOOP WOOP!!!!! Won't get head off pillow tomorrow.
I was worried about catching a cold before, I did then get one and it was gone so that was good...... Thing is when I said to them about it before, what if I get a cold. They said as long as the airwaves are clear they still do it....... Xx
