Hey Raven,
Woohoo four sleeps. It'll be here in no time. Yes my story is in the Surgery Stories section. You'll be fine, they're all so lovely at the hospital!
Hope everyone else is well. I'm pleased to say I have been stripped of all dressings and have had a wonderful long shower!! Feeling much happier, just praying for a good nights sleep!!x

That's great CAB, I bet that shower was well received!
Glad your incisions are all closed and I hope you sleep well. I bought my v pillow today, not looking forward to sleeping on it!

Lias, the v pillow will be a great investment. I've got two pillows laid almost on top of each other, then the v pillow and then another pillow on top. It might be good to practise the 'pillow mountain' now, before you get home from the hospital and have to get yourself all set up, when you feel least like doing it!x

Re: October Buddies
Thanks for that cab I will give it a go tomorrow, I've got my 2 pillows the 4 pillows off the spare bed so 6 in total so I will disappear in pillows! How has your back been? I may sleep in my car as I have a heated seat so may help with back pain if I'm finding it that hard. My neighbours may think in a bit mental!
I reminded hubby he was being evicted and he got a bit upset bless him x

Ha ha Bizzy, no we've got a spare double bed so he won't be out on his ear and he can starfish too! When we go to centre parcs the week after the op there will be a spare bed for him too. Hell yeah I can't wait to starfish and not sleep with heavy breathing /snoring!
Kids swimming on Saturday then seeing hubby's Nan in hospital on Sunday and my step dads ex wife's mother (very strange but she's like a Nan to me) isn't very well either so we will visit her as well then dinner at my mums. My mum is from Yorkshire and makes the best Yorkshire puddings! Oh and a car boot on Sunday morning as my friend needs to do one and hasn't got a car so I offered . I hope it's not cold!

Re: October Buddies
I had to resort back to painkillers yesterday:sadsmiley: They are flipping sore again and rightie looks swollen up. I have a theory on this though, i think its because i'm right handed and therefore i am constantly using my right side more . I then to hold my toddler up with my right arm too when i pick him up so i think its not getting as much chance to settle. Aside from the swelling they are growing too, i flashed with my bra off for my friend yesterday her retort was ..."they are huuuuge" and there was me getting all boobie greedy!
I feel a bit of a wussy with all this pain , i had subfacial which is more like overs and i am still staggering round holding on to them!!! I don't think my pain threshold is that bad, i had my second little boy with no pain relief just a water pool and was out of hospital within 3 hours and in the supermarket the day after.
Ah well onward to next week and fingers crossed for more healing

Hi Amyblue, I hope righty gets better soon.. Sorry to hear you're in pain. I hope you feel better soon. Glad you have growing boobies!! Get well hugs
Charlii, ohhhh yes! Are you? Are you all sorted? 12 days for you yippee! I've got a little boobie pile in the bedroom which hubby keeps telling me to tidy away but I need to put it all in a bag first. I tried the pillow mountain last night and it was fine apart from my bum and lower back. I'm going to have to fine a solution before my op!

Re: October Buddies
Hi Lisa, we have just brought an apartment to let so we are going to see the owners today, as we exchanged yesterday. So had few bits to do this week, paperwork etc.... Exciting though.
Centre parks will be real nice, you will have to have nice lil rest, if possible. It suppose to be amazing there, would love to go, so much to do.
I love Yorkshire puddings, bet your mum is fab at those. I like it when they do a big one and fill that up......... My mouth is now watering....
I think it suppose to be torrential rain today, high winds and maybe thunder, here anyway. But dry tomorrow. But that's here. So hope it's nice for car boot.
Charliee, yes you can have a pillow under knees, I have been. It takes some pressure off your back and is quite comfy.
I'm off to get some nytol today, not sleeping too good. So going to see how these go........... Xx

It will get even more exciting when you get all your bits! I've stocked up on dry shampoo. I hate not washing my hair every day so I may have to go to my hairdressers every day if I feel that yucky. I wouldn't trust hubby to do it!
Oh yes I had forgotten about that thanks I will try that too.
Hope you have fun shopping xx

Re: October Buddies
That sounds exciting Bizzy - hubby wants to buy a holiday home by the sea for us but I told him I want a evoque first - see how that pans out ha ha.
I think there is a lot at centre parcs for the kids and it's in Sherwood Forest so quite nice surroundings. We are going with a load of friends and their kids too so it should be quite nice. The chalet thing is a new refurbished 2 bed with wifi so if I can't do anything I will take my iPad and watch films all day!
I don't know how mums Yorkshire puddings are so nice - she has an aga so I would imagine it's harder in that. She has to count them or I pinch a load before they get on the table. I love big filled ones too mmmm.
Thanks, it's raining here tomorrow so I may have to find an indoor one. I've never done a car boot before and I haven't got anything to sell but it should still be a nice morning with the bestie on our own.
Oh no, is it because of back sleeping you can't sleep? Hope the nytol helps x

Re: October Buddies
I know I've picked up loads from on here it's brilliant, such a big help!
I may be enlisting the mother to help me wash mine as if it's dirty it drives me crazy, having it cut and dyed next week too so will be looking a little healthier and hopefully a bit easier to manage too!!
I know it was amazeballs!!! But no good for my pre BA diet haha!!!
Have you tried lavender baths before bed or I think you can buy it in spray form for your pillows too, meant to relax you and help you sleep?
Xxx

Yes Hunni, evoque first.......... Mind you a holiday home would be nice too, somewhere in the sun, you can escape too. Be nice......
I think there is always something about mums cooking, we go to my mums every Sunday for a roast, you can't beat it she does so many veg. She's a fantastic cook. She was always in catering, for 32 years before she retired and came to work for me. Bless her...
It is because if the sleeping, the deep heat is fab though to be honest. Just need some pills to help........ So fingers crossed I will be knocked out tonight........
They have said I can go on side, may try that too........ So I should get a good night sleep.............
Enjoy the car boot, indoor ones are getting quite popular now, as they do them all year..... You will have a good time with your friend.....xxx

Bizzy, ha ha we were thinking about wales!
Your mums cooking sounds amazing. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! I dread to think what hubby will cool when I'm recovering!
I hope you get a better nights sleep tonight. Sleep deprivation is awful. I'm sure the nytol will relax you. I may get some in preparation.
How are your boobs feeling Bizzy? X

Re: October Buddies
I have bought a sports bra today as i wanted something that would literally bind the boobs to my chest. Wondered if that might aid the healing... i have been fitted with a 32E!!!!!!! And she said that was just fitting and any more boob movement and i would be in an F Heck!!
Bizzy we had the mad weather whilst i was shopping today i looked like a drowned rat the toddler was a happy little soul in his buggy . Sometimes i would like to be 2 ha. Have just dispatched husband to the chinese for a load of food. I have realised i have raging PMT ( this was apparent after wanting to repeatedly slap someone who drove his stupid car in front of me and cut in the queue when i was waiting for LPG:screwy: ) I always get sore boobs before my period so i guess that's why they are sore, just magnified 325 times now .
Ooo i love ovaltine and horlicks before bed. Proper sleepy drinks mmmm .Fingers crossed for a better nights sleep.
End of October is zooming up on us, soon we will all have our new boobs and it will be the turn of the November ladies

Haha now I've read your pmt story I've realised that May be what I have after being short with hubby all day or being on the phone to Apple most of the day may have done it!
Hope your boobs feel better soon.

Lisa, hi Hunni, hey Wales can be beautiful and sunny........ I love Wales, it's very picturesque....... A holiday home there would be fab......
Well I've just taken my nytol, they said hour before bed so they should start to kick in, so I may suddenly disappear off here.
My boobs are both really achey tonight, not painful but a real dull ache, and feel bit swollen at the top of them. God knows why. Real weird........ I'm sure they be fine tomorrow. We went out in hubby's car and it's sporty and they were boggling around a bit so that may be why. Hahaha xx
Amy, we had torrential rain and wind this arty, got it again now. Vile bloody weather. Hate it........ Summer I think is over. I think you may have hit nail on head, that maybe why my boobies are achey...... My period........... I'm sure I be fine.........
32E is fantastic Hunni, I can't wait to be sized. It will be an amazing day I can tell you........
Well I've hit the hot choc, had a nytol now waiting for it to work........... Will let you all know tomorrow....... If I'm not on here early, I've had a great snooze............
I've had great weekend, we went to friends tonight, had to put bit makeup on bruises of eyes. As didn't tell them........ Baggy top too. You wouldn't know............... Had a takeout Indian. A real good chat, not long got in and it's chucking down with rain, and I'm all snugly bubbly in bed!!!!
Night all or should I say good nytol!!!!!!!
