Lisa, feels amazing to actually get some sleep now. Feel like a new person. Just want to get back to gym now............
Gleaming, glad you are all done Hunni, how you feeling now?
Ravenxwaves, I was like you Hunni, I sleep on my tummy normally. I've just started to sleep on side. The first couple of week s were hell. So uncomfortable........ Had to resort to the sleeping tablets in the end. I too had achey leftie........... Still tiny bit but not as much....
It does get better Hunni honest..........so worth it!!!! Xxx

My macom is on the tightest setting but I'm really struggling with the pain underneath where the bra is sitting does anyone know If I can change the setting to make it less tight? Does that make sense? Xx

Re: October Buddies
Mine used to do that when I still had swelling, what size macom is it? Mines a small snug over bust but rides up a bit at the front but flat against back.

Hey, I think it's a small one, but that's what's causing the most pain. Can you move it onto th less tight setting? X

Re: October Buddies
What I've done is the bottom few hooks done them one on tightest setting then the next one on the looser one and so on until you can't do that then just fasten it up as normal ( if you understand what I mean). That should help it has for me anyway.

I'm not in a bra yet either, theyve told me to stay in this massive elastic body band thats really annoying
Leftie much sorer than the right too

Awww you poor girls, I had none of the bands - had nothing on boobs til around 5pm on the monday afternoon but then kept itmon 24/7. Has a bath with it on, etc. I only changed it when it got wet or needed a wash, now I can sleep without a bra if I want which I did do last night.
How long do you have to wear the band things for?

Re: October Buddies
The chest tightness is bad, I'm lucky I have macom on, the surgeon who was going to do mine said I would have bandages. I found having a little bath made me feel better.
Put some clothes on for the first time today, sat in the pub (with lemonade!)

Re: October Buddies
Hi all, literally spent the day feeling sorry for myself and crying yesterday, I was in so much pain :( feeling a lot better today, just finding it really hard not to the housework ! I've got waterproof dressings on so had a shallow bath this morning and got hubby to wash my hair which had made me feel a bit better too... Spent the night waking up up with the bad dreams too tho and wondering what the heck I've done !
Just trying to take it a day at a time at the mo, it's the only way I'll be able to get by. Can't believe I'm day3 today tho, I feel like it was only yesterday still... Lol.
Hope everyone else is feeling ok, it's so nice to talk to others in the same boat to know that it's 'normal'. Xxx

Re: October Buddies
Hi girls, sorry to hear a couple of you are having trouble sleeping, I did for 2 weeks and it was really getting me down, even nytol didn't work for me. I had backache, side ache, rib ache. Was a living nightmare to be honest. Had to resort to getting diazapan to get me to sleep, the first night took ages to kick in, think its low dose. Then I did get around 6 hours which was fab...... Now I'm nearlly back to normal. I never sleep straight through anyway, always had bit of a problem......... Should be a vampire.........
Now I'm on top of the world......
Hope you all manage some sleep, if not don't leave it as long as I did get to docs and get something to help....
I'm feeling fantastic. Still bit achey in leftie, but marginally.
I'm going to gym tomorrow for a steady session........ Can't wait..........
Have a great evening!!! Xx

Re: October Buddies
Gleaming, ive just noticed you are almost the same stats etc as me too...! im 5 foot 4, 8 and a half stone, have 32A boobies now and am going for 375 cc anatomical high projection unders at mc indoe! am so so scared, partic when i read how much pain it is post op. but i keep telling myself it cant be as bad as my two c sections where i got dural punctures, both times, from my spinal anaesthetics and infections and various complications, and i survived those..... not without tears, but i am here to tell the tale! and i am watching x factor, and that sam woman with those fabulous boobies and thinking, i CANT WAIT to have boobs! keep on those drugs hun, keep taking regular pain relief and hopefully you'll sail through this rough storm and get to actually enjoy your new additions before you know it! out of curiosity, what sort of size do you think you are? xxx

Re: October Buddies
Thanks hun, I must admit I am feeling a lot better this evening :) I've got 2 medium macoms, but I'm finding the banding a little on the loose side so I've now put on a 32DD sports bra with an extender which is snug to say the least... My rib cage is usually about 30 and I had asked my surgeon for as close to a 32DD as poss-these were the biggest implants he was happy to use so I was happy with that :) I'll do a picture trail tomoz with some before and post op pics so far if u wana have a peek :) xxx
