Re: October Buddies
That was one of the reasons why I got mine sorted. I'm a 12 on the bottom, 10 on the top and with no boobs it was virtually impossible to buy a dress unless it was A-line to accommodate my bottom!!
However, yesterday with great ceremony I threw out the chicken fillets and my bra drawer is now empty (well apart from the Macom for once I'm out of the binder) so shopping for new bras and dresses will commence, once I get the all clear and hopefully around the time the sales start!!x

Lol that's cool ! I'm so looking forwards to Sunday, it'll be so lovely to see the kiddies faces when they see daddy, we're going along to the family day to meet them from the coaches :)
Give it a week and I'll be pulling my hair out at all the extra mess and tripping over all the new toys he's bound to buy ;) hehe xx

Hi Ladies
I've remained very quiet on this forum, quietly admiring others posting their stories and sharing tips. Well now my time is near and my surgery is tomorrow! It doesn't feel like it's happening yet. My surgery is with Mr Alvi at Renacres - I've not packed a bag yet, any advice/tips?
xx

Re: October Buddies
Hi Gracelouise
Ooh exciting for you. Should think you're getting excited and nervous all at once now.
As far as your bag is concerned I'd suggest the following
Pyjamas with button front
Dressing gown
Slippers
Magazines
Snacks for after surgery/ for your husband
Toiletries
Baby wipes
Pillow to hold against your chest for the car journey home
Easy on clothes for afterwards
Lip balm
I didn't take much really. I mainly watched TV as I wasn't up to reading after surgery. Hubby was starving like usual so he ate most of the snacks!!
I didn't take a pillow for the journey home and could have done with one really.
Hope this helps and best of luck for tomorrow.x

Hi girls, had my surgery yesterday and was really sick after and through the night, even though they did put anti sickness in with my G.A. I think it was the painkillers after. Horrible I'm begining to feel better now.......
My story is in my diary if anyone wants to read it.
CAB, hoping you are feeling o.k babe...
Gracie, hope all goes well tomorrow Hunni, I took way too much to hospital. I took p.js ( but stayed in lovely hospital gown. Dressing gown to walk to theatre in. Slippers. Throat sweets, water, nibbles, post surgery bras, lip balm, I.pad and phone, chargers too.. Baby wipes. Zip through top and trek keys, flip flops, slip on boots for travelling home....... Xx

Hey Bizzy, glad to hear you're up and about.
I suffered with the sickness too. Seems a shame, wasn't able to make the most of the hospitality and enjoy my stay as I spent virtually the entire time being sick.
I read though your diary. Looking forward to the next installment.
Gracelouise, good luck for today. I'm sure you'll be fine. It's all over and done with before you know it.
My account of my boobie adventure last weekend is in the surgery stories section if anyone fancies a read.x

Hi CAB, I will read your story in a mo hunni. It is horrible to have the sickness. Think it's the tablets, they don't help. I can't take the codeine....... Me and codeine not getting along too good............. I have got the bubbly boobs, weird sensation. They were making funny noises last night.......
I'm putting ice packs on regular which is really helping.......
How you feeling now babe? Xx

Re: October Buddies
Adrain Richards, aurora. They were amazing there! Really supportive over yesterday's problems with HMG, they measured me again and said I am suitable for overs so hopefully less pain! Very happy! Although need to sleep now! Worked all night and back on tonight! Xx

Re: October Buddies
Hey Geb, glad it all went well at Aurora in the end. Sounds like you're much happier with what they said as well. Not long to wait either. Have you heard back from HMG about getting your money back yet?
Bizzy, I'm actually surprisingly fine. After all the dramas and the constant being sick on Saturday I've been fine since being home. Sunday I was a bit woozy still and really tired, but now apart from the odd shooting pain I'm quite comfortable. I've been taking the anti-biotics they gave me, but no pain killers today so far.
I now understand 'Morning Boob' wow that hurts. I get a little sore if I sit still for too long but otherwise I'm coping fine. Got my first check up 2pm on Friday so fingers crossed I will be cleared to shower!
How are you feeling now? Bet you're glad to be home. The whole experience with the GA doesn't make me want to rush back in the future for another one!!
How are the new assets looking so far??x

Re: October Buddies
I'm glad you are doing well babe, I'm still feeling very sicky. This is probably down to not eating much and taking the antibiotics on a near empty tummy. Since Sunday I've had one piece of toast, some veg soup and piece of bread....... And few grains of Rice Krispies today. I have no appetite whatsoever. Had to force myself to eat.
I'm finding resting so hard, I'm so active usually that I'm getting so bored...... Not sleeping great either.........
I know it's early days and just got to take it easy. My appetite will return.
My eyes are bit more bruised and swollen today, but no pain at all. They do look like p*** holes in the snow. Look scarey but have stitches out on Tuesday..... So that be good. They bit thickly...........
My boobs look like torpedoes, my right has softened, my leftie very swollen and niggly.........I'm very happy though.
( doesn't sound it does it? )

Re: October Buddies
Hopefully the sickness will pass soon. You're probably right, a mix of feeling a bit pants, not eating and lack of sleep. I felt pretty rubbish on Sunday, didn't sleep Sunday night either. Monday I was ok in the morning, but as the day wore on I got more tired out.
You're only a couple of days in and you've been through a trauma which ever way you look at it, so give yourself a couple more days and I am sure you'll start to feel a bit more human.
I started feeling much better yesterday afternoon and today it's been good so far, so the only way is up as they say!!x

That's the way I look at it, I can only go forward and rest and I'm sure I will be fine.... The human body soon heals. Amazing really........
It's all over now, so it's just onward and upward!!

Re: October Buddies
Hi. I'm new to the site. I'm having my op on 26th October. Starting to feel excited and a bit nervous...I'm having 410cc overs. I am a 34D now, hoping to add more volume after having breastfed two children. I am slightly nervous that they will look too big & fake if that makes sense!?!? But I am tall (5.10) so my surgeon (and everyone else who has been with me to consultations) advised me to go for the 410cc. I'm going with Transform & dr. Meleagros. Anyone going with him too? Xx

Re: October Buddies
Hey Amac,
Welcome to the forum. Exciting times, not long to wait then!
There are a few people on here that have used Mr Meleagros; search his name on the home page search box and a few threads should come up.
If you and your surgeon are on the same hymn sheet you should be fine. I've just had 420cc unders, going from a 32a. I'm also around 5'10'' and they don't look out of proportion on me, however it would be difficult to compare as the starting point was so different.
How are you feeling otherwise about it all?x
