Re: October Buddies
Hi Amac, welcome to October buddies. Not long for you now.
I've just had 420 overs, and I think they will be just right for my frame. Bit swollen at mo so hard to tell. They sound great size for you.
Hi Donna, how are you feeling Hunni? You on countdown now? You will be all done by weekend and be at home recovering with your new additions.......... It goes so quickly. You all packed? Xx

Re: October Buddies
I love redwing your posts on your recovery! Although sounds rough it's nice that everyone is still pleased when they look down!
I'm getting a Macom bra now which having read all your reviews makes me feel safer! The hospital provide it as part of the massive fee!
I've had to pay my fees for aurora as it's so close to surgery but am still £4450 down from HMG, looks like that is going to take some time! I'm staying quiet about having rebooked my surgery and hopefully will get the full refund as their service was terrible at times!
Also found out I'm getting dissolvable stitches which I'm super happy about! Xx

Re: October Buddies
I wake up already fitted in mine and I'm not allowed to take it off at all for week one so all normal things I have read on here.
I sung the forums praises and how amazing everyone had been and how much you can learn through experiences.
I also now feel that excitement as the staff at aurora were so lovely and gave me all the time in the world!
What's been the worst thing so far and the best? Xx

Hi bizzyboobs, glad your op went well, I'm all packed and ready. Been so busy tonight bathing the kids and cutting everyone's hair, lol everyone getting last min trims in before I'm in strike. I can't wait now but got so scared earlier, made the mistake on reading up on GA, I've now convinced myself I am going to have terrible sickness and I HATE being sick.

Re: October Buddies
Congratulations Tash, sounds like you've been through quite an ordeal. Should think you're glad it's finally all over.
Donna, good luck for today. Hope everything goes well. The being sick part isn't that bad when you offset against the fabulous new boobies! However, if you are sick a couple of times ask for something to help ASAP. Have a great day, looking forward to hearing all about it.x

Then I thought I've saved my hard earnt money, cut back on other things. Yes I do deserve it....... It's really difficult.... You will be sooooo happy after........... The build up is really exciting though..... Xxx

Re: October Buddies
Laura, I was exactly the same in the few weeks beforehand. I paid the bill then had serious 'buyers remorse'. Had I done the right thing, why would I spend all this on myself when 4k would pay for an outrageously amazing family holiday?
However then I thought, it might be a great holiday, but I wouldn't enjoy wearing the swimsuit!
A friend of mine had surgery two years ago and as she said she's so much happier and as a result her family is so much happier.
Dolan Park was lovely and Mr Russo is a very clever man. So far mine do look good and I'm so glad I trusted his judgement on size! The staff were great and overall it was a great experience. As far as what size I'll be I have no idea!x

Re: October Buddies
Congratulations to the October Ladies who are now sporting new boobs Yayyy. I am so much better today, had a crap night last night when i went to bed i decided to try and sit up by using my chest muscles which really was a very very bad idea.! Lots of really sharp stabbing pains during the night like a pulled muscle that kept waking me/ I was a bit concerned i had knackered my boobs first thing this morning but it has really settled down and today i generally just feel tons better.
I was going to put an avi pic up but i have serious hideous amounts of bruising and am a bit worried i will put pre BA people off with it:shock:
Aside from the bruising i am loving the shape of them! How they get an implant the shape of a cone to go into a nice boob shape is beyond me!

Re: October Buddies
Hi Amy, glad you are better Hunni, is horrible doing the bum shuffle isn't it?
I know the feeling Hunni, about the cones! Got a couple madonna would envy at the moment. I don't need the outfit to make them cones like she did.........
I'm on the dreaded day 3, hasn't been too bad at all. Still stabbing pains in leftie, but not as frequent.
The G.A knocked me for six and I wasn't worried about that.
Mind you I had 2 proceedures so it may have been that.
Anyway seems like everyone so far is doing real well, which is a good sign. May our recovery be a short and happy one. Xx

I cannot wait for mine now! Not long to go!
Also had a call to HMG to say I would get a FULL refund and should credit into my account by next Friday latest! (Normally takes 4weeks!)
Has anybody else had to wear ted stockings for 2weeks post op?
Really cheeky but does anybody have any pics I can look at? Xxxxx

Re: October Buddies
Hi geb, they gave me some short ones to bring home to wear if I'm resting for long periods of time. I havnt wore them as I've been fairly mobile. I'm not one to lie down for long periods of time. When I'm well I don't sleep the best anyway.
I havnt done a pic trail to be honest, I got no pre op pics. I'm hoping to get some off my surgeon. I'm definately going to do some soon, as want to see the changes.....

Re: October Buddies
Hi girls, it is exciting, the build up is the biggest part of your journey. I'm so happy I had this done. With Christmas coming just being able to fill those dresses a little bit more. Clothes just looking better on. Just confidence..............
That makes it all worth it.......
So yeah it is a lot of money, why shouldn't you treat yourself, you've saved, made cutbacks to do this.......... Money well spent I say.
The only really good advice I can give is research your surgeon, do your homework. Don't go cheap..........
I'm one happy October lady, got a long way to go but I've had my surgery and I'm on my recovery now. Not for one minute have I regretted doing this.........

I meant to ask as well, because we have similar stats, how do yours feel? Do they feel the right size? I know you're early on and have fluffing etc but I was just wondering to put my mind at rest about mine! Xx
