Re: October Buddies
Well when I came round in my room they only had tape on and a gown..... I thought I was dreaming. I had a peek and I thought 2 rockets were about to launch......... They looked a bit conified.........
Think I was glad next day when sports bra went on. They look nice. I know I got long way to go but I think they are a nice size..... Can't wait for the dropping and fluffing...........
My sports bra is a 36dd and it's extremely snug to say the least. It's a zip up front m and s one.... And it did take me and nurse bit of fight to get on. I thought it was too tight, but she said it has got to be supportive........ It's certainly that.......
You will be so happy Hunni, you have a mixture of emotions but that's just normal........ I'm loving them at mo, that will only get more in time.
I will keep you posted.....
Not long for you now Hunni.........xxx

Thank you so much bizzy. That's really helpful.
I'm hoping the scared stage makes way for the excited stage although I am excited too. It's so horrible having to have an uplift but at least I will have the boobs of an 18 year old and not a 70 year old after I'm finished!
Thank you Bizzy and I'm sure you will love them even more when they're all healed xx

Re: October Buddies
You're welcome Hunni, anytime.
Well last night I felt like the hulk, thought I was going to split my sports bra, I think I need to have a bigger one, it's really tight now, due to the swelling. May try my macom today. I could hardly breathe..... Then I can go back to this one when swelling subsides.
I was going to wait until I had my stitches out my eyes on Tuesday but don't think I can. Got the ice packs on regularly too..........

Yeah Hun, she told me to leave it on........... I'm sure they are growing daily!!!!!!! It's like fertiliser this bra........
I got my ice packs from eBay, they're gel ones. You can heat them, for the back pain or you can freeze them...... Think they were 7.00 for 2.
I have heard since getting mine, frozen peas are good, as they mould to your breasts better. So will try this too. Just wrap them in a towel and place on top of boobs........... Such relief!!!!!! Bit chilly though.........

Boob fertiliser. Love it Bizzy.
Thank you and sorry I will stop hassling you now! I will have to make sure I've got some peas in too. I bought a hot water bottle as I'm really concerned about my back (it's bad anyway) I'm getting my v pillow next week then packing my bag. Oooooh 19 days!!

Thanks Chick, how is your back? Is it hard sleeping?
I think I'm getting mine from Argos, it's only a tenner..... I'm looking forward to building a pillow fort. I'm chucking my hubby out of the bed for a few weeks so he can sleep in the spare room as he snores and throws himself about and if he has a bad dream he wraps himself around me which will not be good!!
X

Re: October Buddies
I'm not going to lie, sleeping for me is terrible. Hate this sleeping on my back and propped up...... Lucky if I'm getting 3 hours a night....... I usually sleep on my tummy, occasionally on side...... So a complete flip around for me.
My lower back real achey. So the wheatie is good.......... Just 2 mins in micro feels good........
It is hard with hubby in bed, mine bounces when he turns over, so I'm paranoid he's going to land on me....... My first night I slept in my lounge on my chaise, it's electric so the back goes up and down. Was quite nice.... May have to go back on that............ We will see . Xx

The chaise sounds good, I hope you get a better nights sleep soon. I was considering sleeping in my car with the heated seats on if all else fails!! Xx

I have evicted husband and small child from my bed . ..... and .. its wonderful!! All that room all for me, no snoring snorting husbands or a small set of toes up my nose ( my 2 year old is the worlds most restless sleeper but is currently going through the come in mummy and daddy's bed every night phase)
In fact i think i will have lots and lots of surgery so I can say sorry guys i need to sleep alone again:hmm:

Ha ha love it amyblue. I intend to keep up the sleeping alone thing for longer than I need it! I remember that stage, my little boy is 3 and sleeps really well but sometimes decides 6 am is a good time to get up! My daughter is 8 months and sleeps quite well too but sometimes gets up in the night then gets up at 5 so I am really looking forward to having some time off although my hubby is really good he does every other night anyway x

Lias, that's a great idea, sleep in the car........ May have to try that....... Although I have got a dodgy seat...... Which is in garage as we speak.....
Yeah kick The other halves out. A whole bed to yourself playing starfish............mmmmmmmm like that.
We would miss them though wouldn't we...... Wouldn't we..... I would though seriously..... My poor hubby ain't getting sleep either. And our bed is super comfy....... Not at mo though. Think I will need to see a chiropractor at the end of this to re-align my spine..........
Have a great day all, I'm off to my mum and dads for lunch. Rocking the BIG GLASSES!!!!! Doesn't look suspicious at all. Not a glimmer of sun in sight........... In fact it's rather dark here. Praying no rain, but kinda looks that way.... Oh dear!!!!!! Xx

Re: October Buddies
Hey ladies,
Just thought I'd check in and catch up with the goings on!
You guys are lucky having the bedroom to yourselves! The first night home my Hubby was snoring all night. It didn't even matter whether he was on his side or even on his front...it was constant!!
So far, in the week that I've had the new girls, I think I've managed about 3-5 hours a night.
I'm also not one for sleeping on my back. I love to snuggle under the duvet on my side and I'm missing bedtime cuddles.
I've also got a little munchkin who thinks 6am is an acceptable time to get up and the other one has been up loads recently, teething again!
However, moaning about sleeping over, I had my first follow up appointment today. I am pleased to say all is ok. The dressings were removed and the incisions are healing nicely, but one was a little oozy apparently. Nothing to worry about just hasn't closed up completely as of yet.
As a result.....not allowed a shower for another week! Boo!! Continue with the shallow baths routine. Driving me nuts, it's so time consuming!
Hope everyone else is ok.x

I hope it goes ok Bizzy and you have a parrot?!
Glad you're not feeling too bad apart from the sleep deprivation - I have one of those that thinks 6 am is awake time and a teething baby - she's having a break from it at the moment too thank god. Hope your little one feels better soon, sorry to hear you can't shower yet either but think how good that first shower will feel!
My 'lady cave' is the best thing about my house - it has my spare bed and dressing table in it. My husband snores terribly then if I wake him up claims he wasn't asleep and certainly not snoring!!!

'Lady Cave' I so need one of those!!
My husband is like that too....he does 'awake snoring' where he is making loads of noise, I nudge him and he answers me in his normal voice as if he's wide awake! I'm sure he does it to annoy me!!
I think I will need to make sure there is plenty of hot water for that first shower as I think it may be a long one!!x

CAB, that's all I'm managing in sleep, it's the worst bit.
Glad your appointment went well. Shame about the shower though. I'm having to stand in bath having a sponge down.......... Felt like frank off shameless, love my soaks in the bath.
That week will soon go though Hunni, and it's for the best......... Don't want to risk infection......... Will so be worth it.......
Lias, a lady cave..... What a great idea, I so need one of those, a little haven I could escape too.
Yep I've got a beautiful African grey......... He's so lovely. And swears like a trooper..........
Well ladies I'm not too bad tonight to be honest. Just chilling out in front of the fire watching rubbish basically. My nipples are feeling lil bit sensitive and my friends just been and reccomended nipple covers, Daisy's, and apparently there's a cream that you can put on that helps sensitivity a bit. I don't want to start putting anything on yet. Will go to my appointment on Tuesday and start asking some questions........... Xxx

Morning ladies,
well the new assets are a whole week old now! It's gone quite quickly. I have to say I had a pretty bad night last night. Think I'm now having to get used to having them strapped up in the support bra rather than free but with the binder strap! The left one is a little more uncomfortable than the right!
Bizzy, my nipples are also quite sensitive. The only cream I can think of would be some sort of breast feeding nipple cream. The nipple protectors might help though, stop everything rubbing against them!
The electric shocks are in full swing now so hopefully the nerves are starting to wake up and full sensation is returning.
At least the muscles are starting to relax a little. It doesn't hurt so much if I sneeze or cough now!!
Hope everyone is ok.x

Hi ladies,
What a lovely pet Bizzy and I hope your nips feel better soon.
Glad you're not feeling too bad CAB - LOVE the new a I! Whit woo!
Just a suggestion ladies - I don't know if this is what you've already got but you can get silicone breast shields for breastfeeding that stop the milk coming out - instead of breast pads. May be worth a go xx

Morning ladies, It's the weekend.........
CAB, that week has flown by. Sorry to hear you had a bad night. I'm finding the nights hard too Hunni. Sometimes I think I'm doing so well in the day and then BAM it's night.... Hate sleeping propped up.... It's for a lovely 2 weeks too......
I think it is that cream, my friend has twins and reccomended it, she breast fed, crickey 2 of them. She said its good. Also the covers. Anything that helps. You got to do what you got to do........... And if that's getting anything to make my life easier I'm in.........
I'm not having so many of the shocks now but they do hurt a little. I keep saying to myself it's a good thing at least I'm healing.......
Your avi looks fab Hunni. Looking gorgeous......
It will all be worth it in the end.........
Imagine us at Christmas, rockin he new clothes!!!! Xxxx
Take care Hunni and I hope you relax and have a better night tonight........
Lias, thanks Hunni, think I will definately invest in hose nipple covers, my friend made me laugh said you can have all sorts of patterns on them........ Whatever next..........
Not long for you Hunni, you getting it all together?
Anyone got any nice plans for weekend? I feel like a recluse. Had couple of visitors yesterday, which is nice. It's hard to get out and about because of my eyes, so I'm hoping Tuesday will come quick I can hen get out and about.
My hubby has gone to get my mum in law to bring over she doesn't know about boobs so got to make myself look respectful. Trek keys and sports bra may give it away. Especially as I've still got bit of pen on my boobs........ She only knows about eyes........... Like my dad too.............. Didn't want hem to know........xx
Yesterday I was at my mums and grabbed my leftie (which has been a little more painful then right) my dad was looking at me...... I just said I was aching must've pushed me about when doing my eyes........... He said " they're not gentle" my mum is looking at me dieting to laugh........ She knows it all.................
Have a great day all!!!! Xxx

My plans this weekend are to get the house tidy and do all my washing as my op is on monday eeeek! !!. Just made some soup either for today's lunch or for next week.
Tomorrow I am going the gym for one last onslaught before op as otherwise I won't be doing much else for two weeks - it'll drive me mad however my sis is off from work this coming week so might go out with her some days ( if feeling up to it)

Re: October Buddies
Hi Rachij, Monday for you then Hunni, how exciting. You got all your bag packed yet? Think mine was packed weeks before.
You sound very organised Hunni.
You just have to do that last gym, makes you feel better. The gym is what I miss, next is work as I'm with lots of girls and different clients everyday, which I am finding real difficult at the moment..... Being home alone the first week was bit boring, but then I don't like fussing around me if I'm ill. Like to be left to get on with it. Bit of a contradiction there.......... I suppose what I'm saying is if I'm well I like to be surrounded by people, I'm a people person. Don't like me own vp company much.
So it's going to be a busy weekend for you Hunni, getting everything ready...... Xx
