No period after BA
Bit concerned ladies as I'm now on day 42 of my cycle and no period. Normally my cycles range from 28 - 40 days, I have never had a cycle longer than 40 days.
Obviously THG did a pregnancy test before my surgery I would have been cycle day 28.
I have googled whether GA can affect your cycle and get varied answers so have any of your cycles been delayed after your BA or any other surgery where a GA was required?

Re: No period after BA
Oh no that is annoying, but hopefully it is an affect of the GA but I really don't know. I'm on the mini pill and my periods are all over the place, I can go months with nothing.
I hope someone else has experienced the same So can reassure you it's normal xx

Re: No period after BA
If its not the GA it could just be the stress from the surgery on your body. I wouldn't worry too much, give it another couple of weeks and if you still haven't come on, take another test to be on the safe side. I kept taking my combined pill through it, but I was a little late and very short.

It is possibly due to anxiety and stress hun, that can have all sorts of effects on your body! But if in any doubt at all so a pregnancy test! Xx

Re: No period after BA
It's a nightmare isn't it, I knew I wasn't going to be pregnant, I've never actually wanted my period to come so bad so I can get back to normal, I think it just makes us uneasy as its not normal for us to go do long without a period x

Re: No period after BA
I had my period during my BA, finished a few days later.. A week later had another heavy one. It's the GA, and I think it's stress. Mine have always delayed or come early with stress. It will sort itself out xxx if in any doubt and you have a long cycle do another test, but I really think it's unlikely you are pregnant x
