Late period!
Hiya,
Has anyone else experienced a late period after their BA?
I am always regular as clockwork and never ever late. Although I am now only 3 days late the last time this happened I was pregnant! I have just taken a test which is negative but stil can't stop worrying!
I have read that anaesthetic can affect your cycle but because my BA was 20 days ago I don't think it can be that?!
I have 3 children and we have decided no more babies so now was a good time for treating myself to a BA.
Help?!
Xxxx

Re: Late period!
I'm still pre Ba so havnt got experience myself but from research i have seen that many ladies periods can be majorly delayed due to the GA so it most likely is that...
You've done the pregnancy test and know that it was negative so I wouldn't worry anymore, just enjoy the period free time haha :) but on a serious note, it must be the GA xx

Re: Late period!
There was another lady on here who that happened to, the GA can have loads of random effects.
Give it another day or so and do another test if you're worried. If not you could try one of those super duper early tests that can tell if you're expecting really early on, just to settle your mind at rest. Try not to worry!x

Re: Late period!
Its a mix of the stress and the GA. I was on the combined pill through mine and I was still late. Dont fret too much, it'll all be fine :)

Re: Late period!
Well I have had a copper coil for the last 12 months so there really should not be a problem, but nothing is ever 100% is it - apart from not doing it!!
