I'm having my ba at Abbey Pines on 8th May. I have my pre op next Saturday and I'm not sure I'm happy with the size I've chosen, would it be too late to tell them at the pre op that I want them bigger? I'm having 345cc partial under, I'm a 34b now and want to be a DD. I just don't think I will be that big with 345s.

That's not too late. I went for second sizing appointment with my surgeon 2 weeks before my op as I was unsure what to get x

:wave4:Squidgy!   I'd give the clinic a call to arrange another consulatation with your surgeon if your still unsure of size. 345cc with already b cup will give you a good size.
Have you tried the implants on? And maybe have the opinion of taking bigger sizes into theatre on the day.

Just remember the surgeon may not want to go bigger than what has already be chosen so I'd definatly arrange another consult with him x

Good point raised by mrsball- the surgeon will not go bigger than suitable for your anatomy. So defo make an appointment with them again.

I started with flat 34A bras(should have been 32A I think as the 34A was gaping) and I'm 32E now after having 280cc high profiles. Happy to share my picturetrail with you if you want to see x

Hi all. Mrsball, yes I did put the implant in my bra and thought it looked ok, not big, not small, but then when I got home I think I started to talk myself into wanting to go bigger. I'm a very saggy 34b and I'm having to have an uplift and partial unders so I'm not sure whether anything bigger might ripple. Kdeee, that would be great. Xx

Ah having an uplift will bring I. More factors nun, the surgeon won't want to put a big implant  risking complications or compromising the uplift so you may have been offered the maximum he's willing to put in.

Go back for another consult Hun x

When I went for my consultation he asked me what size I wanted to be and offered me 300 or 345 and said he would do them partially under so I chose the bigger ones. I have also had a consultation with someone else who offered me 400 or 440 but said he would have to go over as I have no tissue. It's all so confusing. I'm confusing myself trying to explain it to you!!
I think I will go back and talk to him again, x

You won't be offered overs with no breast tissue? That's why unders are usually the choice for little or no breast tissue .

If he's offered the max to you then I don't think there's a chance of going any more, just because another surgeon has suggested larger doenst mean your surgeon is willing to go that big .
Your surgeon would have given you a max you can go again without compromising your uplift too. X

Messages are on the top bar Hun  :ok: Though you may have to post a few more to activate pm's x

I did think that. The first surgeon I went to said I was very saggy and he would put 440's in over the muscle as there was no tissue at the top and maybe give me an uplift if I needed one. The second said they were very saggy, I definitely need an uplift and he would do partial. I've seen people on here saying they 'have enough tissue to get away with overs' so I'm now very confused about what the first surgeon was talking about :-/

Yes seems very strange , overs are usually given on ladies with enough breast tissue. And if an uplift is needed it's always best to have one as just putting a heavy implant in will only give you a bigger version of what you have now , and sag even more.

Glad you're getting the uplift Hun but do go back and have another consulation but you may have been offered the max and what's going to give you the best result for you x

I did say to him that I didn't want to pay all that money to replace saggy boobs with massive saggy boobs and he just nodded!

I'm definitely going to phone them and get another consultation. Thanks for your help, xx

And to be fair, if I have to have 345s I'll quite happily take them. Any things better than what I've got at the moment, x

I'm wondering ifsomeone got confused with excess drooping if u didn't want a lift they would do overs,  to avoid the snoopy deformity. But if u didn't have enough tissue to hide an implant u would be as risk of visible rippling and so unders with lift would be another option. I rang and asked for 340cc from 300 a few weeks before but then I didn't have a lift and my surgeOn said I had enough tissue to cover implants and I didn't need a lift
