Re: Period on BA Day!!!?????
As Sophia said babe, the wont allow tampons in theatre so make sure you take your own towels if not they'll give you one like they have me which was as big as a king size mattress! Xx
Re: Period on BA Day!!!?????
I wondered this too but because I'm on the pill have worked out I won't be on, phew! Bit cookies advice about taking your own is a good idea unless you want a huge one! Lol. X

Re: Period on BA Day!!!?????
Hey Max! 3 sleeps...wowzers!!! So excited for you!! A tampon shouldn't be worn to theatre for any op hun. The reason for this is because although there is a rough estimate for the length of the procedure it may take longer than expected. Also you may be too sleepy/sore post op to change your tampon within the suggested time frame for use. So as the others said above take your own pads - or you'll end up with the mattress!! haha xxx

Re: Period on BA Day!!!?????
I was due my period on the same day as my BA and it didn't come by the time I was going into theatre - i think it was all the stress and worrying about the op. Then the GA interfered and it didn't come until nearly 2 weeks post op!! xx

Yeah, stress can stop you ovulating cant it, and you cant have a period if you don't ovulate.

Exactly hun :) Did your clinic advise you to come off your pill? I've heard some girls say when they told their clinic their period was due they were given a tablet to stop it coming.. might be worth asking :) otherwise id stick with the pads xx
