Worrying at night
My mind is going in to overdrive at night! I'm ok in the day, excited etc. but by the time I go to bed I keep thinking of all the things I need to do (although I'm quite organised even have all kids uniforms sorted!!) but I start to panic and start thinking all sorts. I'm usually quite calm but am starting to worry.

Re: Worrying at night
All normal Misty and part of what is the roller coaster of a journey toward getting your dream boobs
Daytime we can keep ourselves active can't we, but when night falls and you stop and rest, and its then that our minds start going into overdrive.
Its just the pre-op jitters Misty. The majority of us have gone through this... During the night I could literally talk myself out of surgery and then morning comes and I'm like "nooooo, I WANT boobs"!
In two weeks this will all be done and you will have your lovely boobs and you will NEVER again look back Misty - you're almost there hun

I know!! I could definitely talk myself out of it at night! I think to myself 'what am I going to put myself through' and make myself think that I won't be able to do things afterwards! Getting myself in a right state. So many girls have had this I don't know why I'm being so silly! I think memories of my c sections are coming back when I couldn't do much for a while and I think I'm comparing too much!

It's all normal huni x I hated the worrying! Have you tried reading a book or listening to some music when you start to worry? I used to find myself putting family guy on and a timer on my tv, so that I had something to occupy my mind when going to bed x

Aww Misty, I would try what Lisa recommended and try reading a book before bed, it should tire you out and take your mind off it. Xx

Re: Worrying at night
You're not at all silly Misty
If you've had a bad experience after the last surgery you had then things are bound to play on your mind.
This won't be anything at all like the C-section you had Misty. You'll be mobile from straight after surgery. You may be tired a lot of the time for the first week or so, but you'll be totally mobile and able to get about hun.
You won't be able to excercise and I know this is going to be the hardest part of the recovery for you hun, but you can maintain your weight by walking and eating healthily, I didnt gain a pound after my surgery doing this, and with my implants I should have actually gained a pound and a bit.. So in effect I lost weight in maintaining lol. Prepare to keep your 'mind' active post-op Misty, set yourself a regime and ensure you get out for a good walk once a day. Don't buy what you don't want to eat. If you only have healthy options in, you'll only eat healthy options hun. Sort out DVDs, download yourself some books or go to the library. Maybe use this time you're off work to sort out your wardrobe... You know, things that are going to keep you busy but aren't going to over exert you in any way.
This really is going to be OK lovely and you have us here to help through the times when its going to be hard for you.
Its all going to be worth it hun... Just stay focused and maybe read some of the post-op surgery stories we have here. They really do help lift your mood babe. Xx

Re: Worrying at night
Maybe write your fears down on a pad during the night - and then put them to rest during the day??

Re: Worrying at night
Thanks girls x yes the thought of me not being able to train for several weeks is getting me down a bit but I've wanted this for so long that the gym is just going to have to be put on hold I'm staying positive with all the advice from you guys. I think I'm just going through a wobbly stage so sorry for seeming a bit negative! Xx
