Sexy stockings

Hey Ladies,

How long do you all have to wear your stockings for? I can't remember whether they said a week or 2? I have to wear my macom bra for 6 weeks, chest strap for 2 and tummy binder for 6. I have done well to remember that lot lol. Not seeing nurse until day 10 and am sick of them already but at least the weather has taken a turn for the worst so not as hot. yahoo

Hi Jesber! How are you feeling?!

I heard that you only need to wear stockings for a few days because after that your more mobile but having your tummy done aswell maybe the week sounds more like it?

Did you take the arnica in the end? Many bruises? Congrats! xx

Definitely with you on the weather side of things!!! Pleased to have a break from the heat.. I only had to wear my stockings until i got home the next day. I think you'll find everyone gets told different Jesber. Wow you are so brave to have it all done at once. Hope you're not in too much discomfort. Xx

I must say that I wouldn't recommend it!! I am realyy struggling to get up and down. I have to walk hunched over and with the extra weight of the boobs on top it has been a bit of an ordeal. I have had to use the arms more than I probably should to keep the pressure off my tummy. On the upside, I have only got the one recovery period so in a few weeks should be all good.
I will upload some pictures next week when I have the dressings changed.
The whole thing has knocked the stuffing out of me, I am exhausted all the time which is why I haven't been on much.

If your up and walking about you could ask the clinic if its ok to ditch the stockings now. The stockings are only there really whilst you're immobile to help prevent DVT, but if you're up and walking around, there's no need for them...

Just noticed you had a tummy tuck babe, so you probably won't be as mobile as those having just a BA, so when you do feel able to get yourself up and walking about, there's no need for them them hun. If you find you're laying in bed a lot though do keep them on. Xx

I was supposed to wear mine for a week, but I'm naturally volcanic, so tore them off in a hot frustrated mess. I was up walking about though. Best to keep them on if you're immobile.

Jesber I do keep thinking about you, can imagine u feel like you've done 10 rounds with mike Tyson! But like u say you only have the 1 recovery. I presume u have lots of help at hand.

My stockings are off!!!but be wise to keep urs if u are mostly immobile

Just think in a few weeks things will be so much easier. U being v brave having the 2 at once. Xxxx

Having a mad moment earlier lol, i'm ok now :) I am laying around quite a lot so will keep them on. Not had any pain killers since about 10am. I got hiccups earlier, that was blooming painful.

Blimey Jesba! You're one brave lady - what a huge difference you'll be In a few weeks - I always think of those women on those American makeover shows having total body contouring with nose jobs, lipo, boobs, tummy a facelift, teeth! All in the same week so must be reassuring for you what we can go through! Didn't even know we had to keep the stockings on for a day after surgery - thought it was only during....well actually I just assumed! Will look forward to seeing what they advise! But agree that it will be more relevant to you..however also just BA ladies have kept them on for a week too it would seem xx

Have already had a sneeze lo, not good. The worst pain so far is laughing!! I must lock myself away in a cupboard somewhere, I made the mistake of watching friends on my first day home, I got 10 minutes in and had to turn the tv off.
I cannot wait to get these stockings off!!!!!
