All exercise hun, anything that gets your heart pumping will increase the oxygen needed in your legs to do the exercise thus taking it away from the healing tissue in your breasts. It isn't mearly the fact that you shouldn't use your upper body, you shouldn't do any exercise apart from things such as walking, as it's good to stay mobile. However increasing your heart rate for any exercise could prolong your healing.

I am not sure if I made sense then. Exercise in the lower body still increases the heart rate, and the need by the muscle in the area you are exercising for oxygen. The oxygen which is also used to repair the skin and tissue around your breasts is lowered during exercise.
If your surgeons allows, you may do gentle exercise on your lower body, however I would get their permission before doing so.

You made perfect sense, misf1, thank you...I shall stick to walking my doggies for the next few weeks just to be on the safe side.

Do not do the 30day challenge. I couldnt walk or sit well for 4days and needed my arms A LOT to lower myself down and get up. Not good!xo
