We all have our worries and concerns at different times. I was fine immediately PO and now I'm starting to worry about things, lol. It's a fantastic but daunting experience filled with much hope and anxiety! xx

Hi alipop I would give your clinic a ring to see if there is anything else you can take I seem to be a bit better this morning but I am wondering how I can have a headache with all the painkillers I am taking

Maybe dehydrated a bit? Have u been dribking plenty? iv got a bottle of water attached to me at the mo lol. I think the pain it's mainly around the incisions now and in between my boobs - don't know if its cos my bra is too tight or not xx

i have been drinking plenty got a glass of water by me my pain is still more at the top where my band is i have just had to put my bra extender on as well though the swelling round the ribs has really kicked in now

Hey Alipops, yes Hun you can. Co-codamol is paracetamol and codeine so you can take ibuprofen as it is an NSAID which will provide extra pain relief and acts as an anti inflammatory. Remember to not take more then the requiremend dose of any of these in 24 hours...check your packaging as some tablets come in higher dosages in 1 tab! Best thing is to stagger out your pain relief, so take Co-codamol, then take ibuprofen 2hrs later so on so forth! keep a note and an alarm on your phone. Try to take something to eat before your tablets esp the ibuprofen. Just call your clinic if you are concerned.
You will feel better in a day or so, just keep on top of your pain relief for the next couple of days. xx

Hi all, I've been in agony all night and today, the nurse has given me some tramadol which has finally hit the spot, last 24 hours has been the worse pain ive had and I'm 6 days post op! Put a bigger bra on too as I think the other one was too tight on the dressings!
The things we do to have boobies!

Yes they are definitely hitting the spot! Don't know if I've had a growth spurt back in a 36e and much more comfortable x

Yes suppose its possible ;) I had a lot boobie swelling at about day 5, one randomly became bigger then the other but its settled quickly and I'm even again (at the moment!) lol. My compression bra is feeling looser now but I'm tightly filling out a 34E sports bra! x

I'm not sure, it felt like the swelling had gone down but then late last night the band on the bra was getting tighter! Feeling much better now the tramadol is kicking in, still a few shooting pains but settling down again x

Me too! Spent hours browsing lovely summer clothes, underwear, bikini's whilst I've been housebound!
