Yes I took mines and there was only 2 pillows in my room so I'm pretty glad I did. The nurses all commented on what a fab idea it was. I found it difficult to sleep sitting up but without my pillow it would have been even worse xx. It also came in useful for the car journey home stop the seat belt going on the precious new additions :-) xx

The healing is going great as far as I know. There's not really much pain. It's a discomfort like you have over done it at the gym. The only tablets I'm taking are antibiotics and anti inflammation tablets so no strong pain relief :-). The only problem I had was sickness after the GA even after they gave me the anti sickness things but I'm extremely prone to tablets/drugs making me sick so I knew this would happen. Then I found that my sports bra was getting a bit tight because of the swelling when I got home but OH has got me a bigger size so I'm sorted now :-). So far I have found it to be an easy experience and there's no pain just a little discomfort :-) xx

Happy1day its something to do with blood flow, but also if you sore and stiff it helps you sleep better and gets you in a better position for sitting up. I never took mine to hospital as I just used the electric bed rest to prop me up but you defo wont look like a narna taking it, lol.
I had unders and the pain really isn't that bad. I've found like milk engorgement and a heavy peck workout. xx

Oh god this was my biggest worry about the house and me having serious OCD. I got really carried away on Monday. Gutted every room, filled my car and went to the dump. I got the little ones clothes all ready and set our for the week cause OH always asks 'does this go with this?!' and I pre ordered a food shop which arrives tomorrow and ensured it was all stuff he is able to cook! When I came home today he set the bed up with loads of pillows and my V Pillow and told me to sit and relax. I think I shall stay in this room so I cannot see any mess that occurs :-) xx

Great idea going to your mums though :-) she'll look after you well! My mum lives far away and I've not even told her about BA. Told my dad and OH (can't really avoid that haha) and some close friends. I'm worried that people at work will notice!! Eeeek xx

I'm not sure how long, I fear it maybe 6 weeks :( I'm seeing my consultant on Monday so will find out then.
I didn't take tramadol last night and I really struggled. I wasn't really in pain but I had a numb bum and was so wanting to roll on my side. I think if I had I would of got up yelping as I have bruising around my ribs, lol. x

6 weeks?! I will never be able to last this long. I will die with starvation of sleep :( :( :(

I just checked my instructions it says 'for the first 14 days please sleep face up and try and keep your head and shoulders raised' oh got 13 to go for me? This will be awful :-(

Let me know what they say at your consultant says. I go into my clinic on friday to get stitches checked. I'm gonna ask again and tell them I can't handle it :-( my lower back is aching and I keep getting a wedgey! Xx

Lol, Take your darn ice cream pants off then haha Hysterical

I really hope its not 6 weeks. I was meant to see the nurse on Friday but I see the consultant Monday so it seemed like a wasted journey to go twice.

I'm taking a nytol tablet tonight to see if that helps me sleep better, lol. xx

Hahaha I slept with no pants on they all give me wedgies! I slept from about 09:30 until now. My cat is in heat and she's running around the house howling and it woke my little girl up because she can hear funny noises! So we have all been up but now they are all sleeping again and I'm trying to sleep sitting up :-(

Ahhhh I will b counting the two weeks away. I'm going to need to get some nytol a try that. I'll try anything. Even a horse tranquiliser! Xx
