Bony Chest?!
So I added a picture of my flat chested-ness! Looks worse with my head cut off than I thought!
I had another 'mini' consult last night which actually ended up being nearly 40mins long as I was the last one there and Mr Topping was kind enough to keep answering all the questions I fired at him. The new plan on the table is a benelli uplift and implant so less scarring but I'm not sure if I will get the fullness at the top I am after. You can see from my avi I am pretty bony in the chest and my boobs actually start low which the surgeon said is just a bit unfortunate but the way I am.
Reckon the new plan might be the one to go for, going to think it over for a couple of days and keep researching but from what I have seen so far I like. Had some advice earlier on a different post so that helped too.
Any other words of wisdom will be gratefully received - anyone else super bony in the chest plate?

Re: Bony Chest?!
Its best to have at the very least a couple of consultations Skates so you have something to compare with. You generally get a feel for which surgeon and surgery plan feels best for you and if a benelli lift and implant is what its going to take to give you the look you're hoping to achieve then I'm sure you'll be very happy with your results.
Did you ask the surgeon about your concern about your upper pole fullness?

Me!!! I have a mega bony chest! You can littlery see my ribs and chest bones thought the skin and I have a really sticky out collar bone. Xylophone chest ! Yep that's me!
Mine also sit quite low, I had unders as I have no breast tissue or fat on my chest. Some pictures I have make it look really skeletal.

Re: Bony Chest?!
I have a bony chest and my breasts sit low too. I had a benelli lift with implants.
To complicate things for me though, I'm bony as well as muscular. It was a trade-off for me, either smaller implants with overs, or larger implants (if I wanted larger ones anyhow) partial unders, but with the higher than average risk of muscle distortion. In the end I chose smaller implants over the muscle.

Re: Bony Chest?!
Thanks for your help ladies - glad to know I am not alone with my bony bits!
Roxanne - sounds exactly the same as me. I had lots of questions re muscles as I train. Its when I am training hard and have lost body fat that I really have a problem with my lack of boobness. Would you recommend your surgeon, where about in the country did you have yours done?

Re: Bony Chest?!
Yeah, the boniness and muscles, not the most straightforward thing, lol. I know it's a really personal thing, but I couldn't stand the thought of muscle distortion and/or having to modify my excerise regime in any shape or form. For me the smaller implants over the muscle was by far the better option. I don't know if I would have felt the same if I'd really wanted bigger implants though, perhaps I would have been ready to risk muscle distortion with unders (or overs with large implants showing more, more rippling...something my surgeon did not see as an option)
My surgeon was Simon Withey in London. I went through Mybreast, though I know he has a private clinique too xxx

If you train a lot going over the muscle probably would be your best option to avoid muscle distortion lovely.... You could also consider using the 5th generation implants such Allergan Natrelle soft touch which are 100% filled to help lower the risk of rippling for you also. Xx
Re: Bony Chest?!
Allergen Natrelle were one of the options given and they were the most expensive so I had decided to go for them as the better option.
Will take a look at Mybreast in London, wanted to see another clinic and surgeon before final decisions so glad to have a recommendation from someone in a similar position. Bit gutted to be honest that a normal BA isnt an option but there is no point if I can't achieve the look I want.
Agree, I dont want to compromise my lifestyle and training so I need to find the best method for me - its not straight forward this booby malarky is it?!

Re: Bony Chest?!
Mybreast use Nagor. Though Nagor Impleo is a fifth generation high cohesive 100% filled implant too. According to my research, the two implants I was happy to have were Nagor Impleo and Allergan Natrelle Soft Touch.
To properly answer your previous question, though I guess you gathered that by my mention of him and the clinique, yes I do highly recommend my surgeon.
You have the right view, there's no point of getting the half results if a lift gives you the results you want, it's well worth it if it's what you should have xxx

Re: Bony Chest?!
Not at all Skates.... But its a big decision to make so taking your time and doing your homework as you are really does make for a better result. Xx
Re: Bony Chest?!
Hi Skates, i've got a really bony chest also. It was a bit of a dilema as to whether to go under or over as i do a lot of gym work but when my ps showed me pictures of how the muscle distorts when flexed i decided to go with the overs. I got Mentor 350cc's mod plus (not sure if they do that brand in the UK) so not a small implant but so far so good although i'm taking it really slowly with upper body workout. My OH says they're looking pretty good!! and a friend said they don't look at all stuck on so i think i made the right choice. (still early days though).

Agree - great picture! Did you need an uplift as well Jogo?
I am a bit worried on how much time away from working out there will be especially arms (they are my best bit!) well we all have to suffer for our beauty etc and its a small price to pay for nice boobs!

Re: Bony Chest?!
I wouldn't worry Skates. I went six weeks without working out, it was easy to get back to it, just took it slow first to be on the safe side. I just made sure to be in great shape before my op xxx

Re: Bony Chest?!
Thanks guys x. I didn't need an uplift. Skates, I didn't have anything to lift up!!!
Roxanne how long did it take you to feel comfortable jogging and upper body work. Im 3 months and it just doesn't feel right :(. I get a real dragging feeling on my left boob when I lift my arm up and down and after 5 mins on the treadmill and after it really feels sore /(

Re: Bony Chest?!
Jogo, I'm 4 months post op and have only just started back feeling ok running on treadmill at your stage I still couldn't run propley as had that dragging, heavy pulling and ache so I stopped. And have only just started back. Even sometimes after I can feel it pull or ache so I just try and take it easier doing a workout next time. As for upper body workouts I havnt started back as I still don't feel ready , if your experiencing pain or soreness it's your body's way of telling you to slow it down. You will still be healing internally for up to a year Hun so just bear that in mind. X
Invest in a really good high impact sports bra for running making sure there's minimal bounce , I use shock absorbers level 4 which hold me in and keep my boobs really stable when I run. X

Re: Bony Chest?!
Thanks Mrsball, can i get your opinion?! - I guess im worred that i might be bottoming out as i read somewhere that you get a dragging feeling with that? Its only on my leftie and after exercise or when im not wearing a bra - say when i've taken a shower and not had support for ten minutes. My ps did have to lower my creases and the leftie seems to be fuller on the bottom inside which is where i feel the dragging. The scars are in the creases but on the leftie its about 1/2cm above on the inside bit of the scar. It hasn't changed for a few weeks but not sure if the feeling is normal or im on my way to bottoming out . My nipples are a tiny bit above the centre but nothing obvious. Thanks! Hope that makes sense???!!!

Re: Bony Chest?!
I think you need to stop the running on treadmill for the minute hun, it's that what's contributing to that dragging, burning, ache and the breast obviously needs stability . Cross trainer, bike with no bounce to keep up excersise but no pushing yourself as again you're healing internally.
1/2 cm is ok mine are like that now also when I bottomed out it was like 1/2 to 3/4 of an INCH! And standing back looking at them could see a pretty big diffrence. My nipples are also little bit above centre but that BECUASE they've dropped rather than bottomed out. Your implant is. Going to end up a little bit fuller at the bottom naturally to take on a natural breast shape and gravity.
For me I'd say your pain is more associated with running/ excersise rather than bottoming out. The lefty sounds like its asking to be stable rather than being bounced about running. Lie I said its taken me tho along to start back and anytime before I had pain excersise I STOPPED as it was my body's way of saying slow down , x

Re: Bony Chest?!
Thank you, its sooo reassuring to hear those words, I've been suffering in silence a bit just waiting to bottom out!! :roll:I guess i thought 3 months and then back to the gym i'd be ok, but obviously not! And its really good to hear that there should be more fullness under the boob and my nipple placement is ok xxx
Thanks again Mrsball xxx

Re: Bony Chest?!
I was told by my surgeon that I have a bony and low chest base, which adds to the reason why I need an uplift! It's funny as its not something I've ever heard of before or even considered as part of my booby issue, so it's great to see other people writing about it!! :-)

Re: Bony Chest?!
I have a bony chest and a low chest base also.. I had overs and an uplift and I am very happy although I must admit sometimes in certain lights my BA makes the bony chest look worse cos its nothing but skin and bone and then 2 big boobies!!

Re: Bony Chest?!
It's so great to hear you're happy with your BA and uplift, it's reassuring to know that the uplift will be ok with a lower chest base! It's defo one of my concerns, what if the uplift isn't enough, what if they are still low?? What if what if what if?!!! :-)
