CUI vs Natrelle Empty CUI vs Natrelle

Post by bgorringe 19th January 2013, 3:16 pm

Hi girls, can anyone tell me if there are any major differences between the look and feel of the two, I've always though I wanted natrelle's purely because they're the premium implant, but ive realised that there is a big price diference and as I'm only 25 I presume I will have them re done at some point later in life so I'm not really concerned with the difference in warranties, but I know that natrelle has an extra layer, so does that make them firmer than cui, I really want a natural look, does either implant give a more natural look, or are they pretty much the same, as I'm happy to pay the extra for natrelle if it will give me a better, more natural, look and feel softer, but if I'm just really paying for the longer warranty I don't really think there is much point for me as I'm sure I'll have them re done in 10/15 years after babies etc. thanks girls xxx

Hi, I can't comment on the natrelle, but I have cui's CMH range and they're very soft and natural looking. x

Natrelle's all the way for me. I felt both Natrelle's and CUI's at consultation and there was a BIG difference. Natrelle's felt really sturdy and firmer. CUI's were very jiggly and flimsy feeling to me. My PS said CUI's are more likely to ripple, especially in skinny women. It is completely up to you though x

That's What I thought but my PS told me with natrelle you are more likely to see rippling? He wrote that down on my notes just before my op... kind of freaked me out a little but I was all ready to go... still had the natrelle though. I think they feel very soft, but I do have some rippling....x

CUI vs Natrelle Empty Re: CUI vs Natrelle

Post by misf1 19th January 2013, 9:03 pm

There are two types with the CUI the 4th generation cohesive gel the MHP or MLP and the 5th generation highly cohesive gel (gummi bear) CMH or CML.
The two types of gel in the naturelle inspira range are the 4th generation (FDA approved) responsive gel and the 5th generation highly cohesive (gummi bear) soft touch gel.

In both the CUI and naturelle the 5th generation implants are the firmer but also least likely to ripple.

The naturelle have 3 layers for extra protection from rupture.

CUI vs Natrelle Empty Re: CUI vs Natrelle

Post by bgorringe 20th January 2013, 8:07 am

Thanks girls! So am right in saying that the natrelle responsive and CUI 4th generation implants are both as soft as each other, i didnt get to try any at my consultation. Also with rippling, is that just something to worry about if your skinny, I'd say Im slim but def not skinny so I didn't think that was something I needed to worry about. I was offered natrelle responsive but If the CUI 4th generation implants are just as soft I may want to go with them as they are quite alot cheaper and I don't need a lifetime guarentee. Just really want a soft and natural look, think I'm gona have to go do some more research :-) xx

I may contradict anything here lol but I went to my first consult at transform certain I wanted natrelle and the consultant said the cui is just as good an implant as the natrelle a lot of people mistakenly go for natrelle thinking it has a lifetime guarantee where in fact it has the same as cui 10 years! This is what I was told anyway so I don't want a telling off if wrong lol also you would think they would of jumped at chance to get me to have the more expensive surgery but she didn't she convinced me to save some money and assured me the cui was a brilliant implant xx

as i understand it, the responsive implant in the natrelles range are softer then the 'soft'touch' implant in the natrelle range. Im trying to research to see if the CUI 4th generation implant is as soft as the responsives, and which one gives a more natural look, but its really hard to find anything, but if I do find anything ill post it here for ya xx

Post by bgorringe 20th January 2013, 1:15 pm

Thanks scatty, yeah my pc told me they are both very good, and i always presumed i wanted natrelle as they are the premium implant, but since ive found out what theyre going to cost, I dont see the point in paying the extra £600/£700 for natrelle when the cui seem to be just as good. Think Im going to have to go see my surgeon again to ask him what he thinks, i didnt get to see/feel them when i had my consultation so hopefully ill get to next time and try to make a decision on which to have x

Another thing, it might not bother you but the Natrelle responsives are FDA approved, CUI's and soft touch aren't x

I've got the CUI CMH very soft and squidgy now feel very natural to me and OH obviously not like before but I've been surprised at how much they have softened. Everything I looked up and I was reassured by my surgeon the CUIs were more than good enough for me :) xx

Well there's my decider, I asked the pc to give me a quote for cui and she said 5200, only 200 cheaper than natrelle, so I think I'll go for the natrelle seeing as there's not much difference in the price x
