Re: March Buddies
I'm two days post op now and still feeling really tight. My band is really itchy!! Missing a proper nights sleep. Just want to get back to normal now. Think I'm more worried about experiencing pain when I'm actually not in that much anyway..
Feeling very bruised around my left ribcage but other than that and the tightness I'm doing ok.
Gonna take another look at them tonight and see whether theyre still scaring me hahaha
Anyone felt like that?

Sarah Kathryn - mine are taped up and too scared to look at moment in case they smaller than before (re-aug)! Just got up and they def starting to hurt now. Asked for drugs and got........paracetamol! Wondering where the vodka is to wash them down!! Hope there are stronger drugs if it gets worse!

Paracetamol!? not even any cocodamol!? codeine on its own in the best haha. Big glass of wine should do the trick. I'm thinking about it tonight, no one mentioned not drinking with my antibiotics!
How are you feeling besides that?

Re: March Buddies
Apart from feeling sore around my rib cage ( scars??) I am fine. Drinking, eating, watching rubbish on the tv! When I get up they hurt more- very heavy but am pleased I've been able to do stuff by myself. V tired though. What about you?
Nikki- I kept busy too. Hoovered, mopped, ironed etc. think it helped. Didn't sleep last night but today was fine. Went by myself which was daunting but hubby looking after kids. You will be fine, honestly it is worth it so remember the end game and how the rest of us have done it and are fine xxx

I'm really tight in between my cleavage literally feels like it been lifted a few cm from my bone! Weird! They look super stuck and pointy at the mo which is scary cause I had only research anatomicals as that what I was told I was having! Dont have a clue what these will end up like now! Arrrggghhhh
Am taking tradamol and diazepam but I could prob do without it to be honest not in any pain just the tightness can move my arms freely etc and defo ready to go home!!!

Hey Welshdoll,
You still in the hosp? Hope you're home now! Makes a huge difference. They will look perfectly fine :) I wouldn't worry about it.
My tightness is much better today. Maybe I'm just getting used to it, but its definitely improved! So you know you've not got that long till its over haha.
What size did you end up getting?
Hope you're feeling better xxx

Re: March Buddies
Sarahkathryn, good to hear your feeling ok. Iv had a rough couple days mostly due to sickness, im now taking anti sickness tabs so feeling better. The tightness is bearable so not really in pain just bit uncomfortable so just taking paracetemol when I need to. sleeping is a chore and I really cant get the comfy upright but im sure before we know it we will be able to sleep on our sides. Hows your scars? Mine seem ok and not really bothering me which is good.
Hope all you other March ladies are doing well!

Oh no! You reckon thats from the penicillin? I have read that the GA can have that effect too so it could be that. Sleeping is a NIGHTMARE!! I think I'm gonna have to sleep on the couch cos then at least I can lean on the side when I sit right in the corner where as in bed I'm just sat bolt upright and its so uncomfortable. My back is in so many knots!! Seriously considering going to a chiro just for some relief!
Picked up my little one today which was ok. I emailed you on [link removed] too by the way, i uploaded some of my pics on there if you wanna see.
My scars are ok, itchy mainly. Overall I'm not in much pain from the actual operation, just from sleeping upright really!! Lets hope it gets better!!
Welshdoll,
Its weird, I didn't get any drains! I wonder how they decide on whether you have them or not? I hope it all runs clear for you soon so you can go home!! You got it done on the NHS didn't you? Congrats on that! Ive heard its very difficult to get that done. Keep me updated on your progress! xx
