Re: March Buddies
Nurses just came to fit me into Macom n t surgeon has decided it's too tight on boobs (I'm guessing he means to much pressure than too small cos macoms stretch?) so OH has been told to go Oxford street and buy me a 34d, 34dd and 36d M&S sports bra n we'll see which is best. Just annoying cos I asked bout buying sports bras n was told not too! Not end of the world but I'd rather OH was here with me than running round the shops!

Re: March Buddies
Glad it hear it went well. Pain your husband has had to go bra shopping. Hopefully he'll find what you need ok and be back with you. I have one side much more painful than the other too but def not hurting as much today (day 3). Take it easy and make the most of being waited on!!

Re: March Buddies
Are you in a bandage at the moment then? I guess it's hard buying bras in advance when you don't know how they're going to turn out. Glad it's gone well and you're feeling ok tho.
Are you on morphine for the pain? I went a bit crazy after my op with all the morphine, was getting all emotional and saying I was going to buy the surgeon a box of maltesars as a thank you! Hahaha!
Enjoy being "pampered" and take it easy! :) xx

Re: March Buddies
Technically I am April 2nd but there isn't one for April buddies! I'm having mine done at the Winterbourne in Dorset with Dr Graham (A BMI hospital). They have been fab. I am having Natrelle's. Seems sensible even with the extra cost. I am teeny all over so having (at the moment....) 240ml overs, round and hoping for a full C. I literally have never been this excited ever! :) Any post op tips those who have had them? I want to be up and about ASAP! Good luck to all having them soon xxxx

Re: March Buddies
I think he's keen to get out for a bit tho he's pretty bored and uncomfy just sat in the chair. But yeah I'm loving being waited on (by the nurses not him - he's being so stroppy if I just ask him to pour me tea or something ugh!)

Re: March Buddies
Hannah - no I have like an adhesive strap sort of thing at the top and brown plasters over scars. When I came round I tried to move n pulled my right scar which hurt and they gave me a little bit of morphine (I didn't want any at all, was in hosp once with a woman who had a bad reaction to morphine and was really Ill so it scares me!) the lil bit they gave me took the edge off the pain but made me feel sick so had some anti sick tabs and have been fine since. Just been given anti b's and ibuprofen but I would have been ok without it x

Re: March Buddies
Wish I'd known that it wasn't as bad I as I was worrying about!
I was def over prepared, haven't worn my pjs yet as hosp is warm, haven't used my Vaseline or soothers cos throat has been fine! But if you have these things id still take them better safe than sorry x
So OH got me 3 sports bras, 34dd, 36d and 36dd. 36d too small in cup but 36dd too big in cup! And 34dd too small in band grrrr so we're going without for now and nurse is going to put another adhesive support band thing underneath x

Re: March Buddies
Well you seem sprightly enough Newboobz :-). I was panicking because my boss is loading me with tasks but they are mainly calls/proposals.
As long as I can work after three days from home then I am good.
Yes only one day. Having a glass of wine tonight because I know it will be a while before I can have another.
Have you sneaked a peak yet ..... hmmmmm....
Hope you find something nice to watch/do this evening. Take care xx

Re: March Buddies
Lauren - The 36d was the zip up m&s one but the 34dd and 36dd were a different style (styled a bit like a shock absorber) we think a 36dd in the zip up would fit but M&S didn't have any otherwise oh would have got one. Will see what mr berry says when he checks me tomorrow x
Enerjjoy - yes they aren't bandaged or in a sports bra just have some thick sticky tape stuff on them so I've had a good look. They're going crazy with the swelling, up down up down lol! Can't wait til they settle I think they'll look really good x
