Weird nerves..???

I am 5 weeks post op and still very numb but I had a strange thing happen today... I still have loads of little pimples on my boobs following surgery, not as many as I did have but they are still there... Anyway I had one that just needed a little squeeze (sorry!) and when I squeezed it (on the top of my boob) I felt the sensation in the bottom of my boob... it was so weird. Then I was thinking about my uplift and I suppose the skin I have now that is higher up was around the bottom before. Totally freaked me out. Anyone else had anything similar? I also get a tingle which feel like its in my nipple but when I touch where the pain is its right down my vertical scar and no where near my nipple but again it kinda looks like its in the place where my nip used to be!!! I get that, when you hurt one part of the body but feel pain in another... It's very strange isn't it. I don't only get it in my boobs though, I've had it in my leg too, took the top off a spot and felt the pain on my belly! Shocked

Glad I'm not the only one!! I can understand now how people who have had limbs removed say they can still feel the limb!

oooh how bizarre! i havent got any numbness and my nipples are hyper sensitive. i am actually fed up of feeling everything and wish i was numb!

I wish I could feel more!! Really hope I get some feeling back especially in my nipples but I knew it was a risk of the surgery and I wouldnt want my old boobs back just to get the feeling back!

You're extremely early in your recovery to be worrying about that just yet hun... Give it time, I know of only 3 women in the 3 years I've been here who haven't had sensation return babe. Xx

Nerves are funny thing! up until last week I had a sore feeling/sensation like I had a swelling/lump on my ribs to the side of my right boob but when I touched the area there was nothing there! its now gone and pain under my numb right nipple is subsiding & gradually getting a bit of sensation just above nipple . Weird nerves..??? 899188
