Re: Telling The Family....
I think from my experience as a teacher that children are so much more accepting than adults. Telling the children will be easier than we think. We're the ones that over analyse things to much :) x

Re: Telling The Family....
I don't have any children so i can't weight in on that but i'm bricking having to tell my parents!! they're very old fashioned religious conservative types so i don't think it will go down too well. My dad probably wouldn't have a clue, he's a typical man really but my mum would notice straight away! especially as she always brings up my lack of breast anyway i'm kind of just hoping i can get them done and she won't mention anything haha although i doubt she'd be too happy that i'd gone for an operation without telling her ?? I don't know !!

Re: Telling The Family....
I won't tell my father, and my mum
Won't tell him. He is very very old fashioned, saying that he wears all
The top clothes, Takes an interest in what my mum/me wears, and thinks women should be glam... Yet I know he wouldn't like this at all ! Would worry, think I was mad to go through it and would be embarrassed about the whole thing!!! I have always padded myself right up anyway so don't think if will be that visible.

Re: Telling The Family....
I haven't told my kids, i told them they are going to a sleepover with a friend in a few weeks as i have to go to hospital for the docs to look at my tummy again ( i had a coild fitted under general last year) so they are ok with that.
however, my daughter is not daft, she is 7, and she proudly announced to my other half that i am having a boob job! she doesnt know what that is but she obviously overheard me... so i'm sure she is bloody telling everyone! my son is 4 and no need to tell him.
my parents couldnt be less interested if they tried. no offers of help etc my poor friend who has a 4 year old and 8 month old twins has offered to have my kids overnight when i am in. such a star.
havent told anyone else as its none of their business! x
