One Week post op check
Hi, I am one week post-op tomorrow and have my check on Thursday. I was told at my pre-op that i would need and one-week check, then a two week check, both with the nurse. Then would see my ps at 6 weeks.
I went with Transform--does anyone know what will happen on Thursday and why do i also need to go back next week?
It's a 2 1/2 hour drive and could do without going next week unless totally necessary. Most of the girls on here only seem to have the one week check then 6 week check. Can anyone help?

Re: One Week post op check
It may not be necessary for you to go back babe and if you had no complications during surgery I'm unsure why you've been scheduled the second check, those are usually requested by the nurse at your one week check 'IF' she feels its necessary, so I think that may be a mistake lovely, but do check with your nurse when you go back to see her.
At the check the nurse will check your wounds, snip any stiches that may need coming out and add some steri-strips just to hold the scar for a little while longer. Depending on your healing the nurse may regress the scar, she may not and also depending on your healing the nurse will decide whether or not she feels you need to be seen again.
This appointment is also an opportunity for you to air any concerns you might have and to get them noted, your nurse will also help with any questions you have too.
That's it babe, nothing more to it than that. xx
