6 week post op check
Just had 6 week check with my PS. Everything is looking good and my incisions have healed nicely.
I have the all clear to fling my surgery bra from the highest building!!! Woooohoooo!
Pretty bras here we come.... He said I could go bra-less to sleep too which I was not expecting!
I have also been given the go ahead to go back in the gym for gentle exercise, avoiding the rowing machine and have bought the M&S 2 pack of spots bras ready!!
He said I can rub E45 cream onto my scars twice a day which will smooth the scars out.
Feeling on top of the world now!, we have a posh dinner to go to tomorrow night so that means I can pick any dress I choose - even a strapless number that I have not felt comfortable wearing for years!!!
need to update my avi now when I get some nice underwear on......
Xxx

Re: 6 week post op check
YAY congratulations honey that's great news!!! Don't go too spend up crazy though babes, a couple girlfriends went mad after they're 6 weeks check, spent a fortune and ended up not fitting into the bras after another month or two because their boobies carried on dropping and fluffing!
I'm excited to buy new bras but think I'm gonna stick to fairly cheapies until the 6 months mark. Urgh that sounds a 100 years away.
Really happy for you honey xxx

Re: 6 week post op check
Thank you girlies!
Fortunately, most of my pre children bras now fit again! I had a trying on session this afternoon before the school run and most of them were good! I will now find it easier to heed your advise and wait till I drop a bit more before spending the pennies. I have a trip to NY in November with hubby so can go mad then!!
I had thought I may still wear my sports bra in bed for a little while longer - I have one on now for an evening of relaxing!!

Aww that's fantastic news seashell - made up for you sweetie... like some girls have said, wait and save your pennies a little longer buying expensive bras, I know you must be excited now you've been given the go ahead to wear 'normal' bras but just wait a little longer... There are some really lovely bras at a fraction of the price in Asda - just a thought sweetie. Anyway... Enjoy breaking free from your sports bra :)))) x
