Well, I went for my check up today. Everything boobie wise has been fab and Nick Williams told me they were beautiful (wish I'd been quicker and said 'bet you say that to all the girls!!)
Anyway got a chance to tell him something that had me crapping myself on Sunday night, so much so I was afraid to ask on here in case it was something serious and fatal (wally!! lol)
I had run my hand across my abdomen as I was chatting to my girls before sending them to bed Sunday evening, when I felt this horrible long vein like lump thing crossing from below my ribcage to my belly button, and I got such a shock I panicked and nearly fainted.
OH convinced that it was best I went to casualty cos I wouldn't sleep, but they were crap, didn't have clue, just said, if it gets sore take a paracetamol. I think they were just relieved that I said I was seeing my surgeon on Tuesday.
got home and started to remember about Mondors Cording/disease so googled it etc. Felt a bit better and told myself...not long till I see surgeon, OH aware, and surely wouldn't die etc. etc. etc
Yep, when I told Nick he said ah, yes the dreaded Mondors Disease (don't know why they call it a disease as it is not much to worry about and goes away mainly by itself after 12 weeks or so at most)
He just said taking aspirin (note, not paracetamol) helps it go away .
So although it gives me the willies (must stop touching it), I am a lot happier. Googling it mostly says it is on the breast, mine is below, you can get it after trauma, recent surgery etc.
Just been a bit unlucky I suppose, thought I had damaged a muscle after a sneezing fit trying on perfumes, or being a bit to passionate too often over the weekend(!!!!)
If any of you get it, dont worry.

I'm so glad your girls are both well!

Bless you, going through all that stress. You must be so relieved now. Thanks for raising awareness on here though as I'd probably have a complete panic if it happened to me! Hope it goes away soon hun.

Keep enjoying those boobies! xxx
